Weekend stay for 3 teachers

Friends and colleagues enjoyed a much needed break from the high stress of our jobs. We appreciated the National Park Pass, which enabled us to go to Banff. We paid $15 for a Kananaskis Conservation day pass to visit Grassi Lakes. Canmore proper was lovely with many nice shops and restaurants. Thank you for a clean and convenient condo to relax in. We loved the pool and hot tub, the comfortable beds and adequately equipped kitchen.

I have stayed at this location several times due to the walkability and ease of access. This rental is good for two friends who each need a room. There's a nice little ground patio to drink your morning coffee. The master bedroom has a fantastic view of the mountains. There's a pool but for an unknown reason it had a pad lock on it. I phoned the owners and they also did not know why access was restricted. The following day I saw some maintenance people working on it. A little sign or notice would have been appreciated. The towels are old and moldy smelling so I bring my own. The furniture and pillows are very dated but I overlook this due to the fantastic location. The furniture in the living room is uncomfortable due to being old and used but the beds are comfortable if you bring ur own pillows. The price is fair and the parking is easy. So overall I think it's worth staying there repeatedly. The owners were nice on the phone and tried to help with the pool but it was out of their control. The location and around the property are lovely.

Beautiful stay in the Rockies!

Overall this place was fantastic. It’s decorated very elegantly and clean and comfortable. The electronic door keypad are great if they work. We called to have the batteries replaced the day we checked in, two days later the keypads on both doors were completely dead and we couldn’t get into our unit and missed our New Years Eve dinner reservation waiting for the locksmith. It’s unfortunate you paid for a locksmith after hours when I told you two days before the batteries just needed to be changed! When your guests communicate complaints, they should be acted upon quicker. That is really our only complaint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Convenience but cleaning can be improved

I booked the place for half year in advance but didn’t received the address until right before we need to go there, and that’s after I text them multiple times and talked to vrbo a couple times. The phone number given to me, no one ever responded. I received the check in instruction and there was no indication of needing parking pass to park in the resort. We parked the car at the resort and almost got towed away and when I inquire about the parking pass, that’s when they told me we need one and there is only 1 pass for the unit and we have 8 people. We had to move our car around for more than a day staying there, very inconvenience. When we move in, the place looks a lot older than the pictures in the listing. We noticed that there are mold inside of washing machine as well as the drain in the master room bathroom. I emailed the host and they said they will get someone to come and do a cleaning of that. After 3 nights staying there, no one ever came to clean up and we didn’t end up using the washing machine, even though we were so looking forward to it given that we really need to wash our clothing by then. Also the pool code they gave us to access the pool was incorrect and because we can only email them questions (phone number given never responded), we were not able to access the pool as well. Overall the location is good but not great in terms of the whole process and living condition.

This is an 80s style town house but with good location in Canmore. Everything is old, the beds, windows, doors, carpet, furniture, window shades, blankets, etc. The pool was under renovation for the third time in a row. Just be honest and say the pool is only in operation from June to August due to not wanting to heat it. I asked for no scents due to my sisters allergy. We walked in and the first thing we noticed was Febreze sprayed all over the apartment. She had a rash the entire stay. The plus side, it's a good location to Canmore. The parking is easy and safe. There's ac and heat.

This was a great stay for my friend and I. We had a little trouble checking in due to the email going into my junk folder. Once inside we found the place clean, quiet and comfortable. There's a pool outside as well as walking distance to downtown. Will stay again. Cheers.
