A great house - just as in the pictures. Spacious, clean, comfortable, etc.

This is a fine house for someone from Europe but not so good for those from the US (from where I booked it.) My main complaint is that it is listed as having “air conditioning” but, in fact, only the living room has it. We were there during the (5th, I think) heat wave of the summer, and it was over 80 degrees in the bedrooms at night. While most Europeans don’t see this as a big problem, most of us in the US are not accustomed to sleeping in such hot rooms (you can open windows, but they don’t use screens, so it’s heat or mosquitos!)Also, in coastal France you are expect to bring your own beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, etc. which is hard when you are coming on the airplane! The house has a few other quirks- a large refrigerator but no freezer; a washing machine but no dryer. Again, our French friends didn’t see this as unusual, so this is only for potential US renters. Otherwise, it’s a lovely, large house with a nice covered outdoor space, nice pool, big yard, and nice large living/dining area. If you are European, you’ll love it!
