We loved our week in this beautiful condo. It was very clean, as was the resort. The condo faces to the north with a lovely view of the ocean and more privacy than facing into the resort itself. It was great to have two bedrooms and a large bathroom for our family of 4. The kitchen was well-equipped for the simple meals we prepared. We also enjoyed the balcony and ate many meals out there. The resort was amazing with the Duke’s restaurant, Whalers store, and beautiful pools. We definitely hope to visit again soon!

Overall our stay was good. Location was awesome, and the resort was fantastic. I was a little underwhelmed by the unit itself. It said two king beds, there was only one, the other bedroom was a queen, and no windows in the second bedroom.The kitchen was very poorly stocked, probably one of the most understocked VRBO kitchens I’ve ever stayed in. No storage bags or containers for you to pack lunch’s and leave, only one paper towel roll for a week stay, no cleaning products to clean up counters or tables after eating. Also one of the cabinet doors was broken. The floors unfortunately were not mopped at all prior to our arrival. We were traveling with an 8 month old who crawls everywhere, and within the first twenty minutes of us arriving and him moving about, his hands and feet were black.There must have been recent water damage to the unit as well, there was swelling to the bathroom door/trim, and a very odd smell in the master bedroom that lingered the entire time. There is a pack and play in the unit so no need to bring yours or rent one. It’s brand new, and very clean! This was a plus, and I wish I would have known prior to renting one. Dinner at Dukes is a must! The staff there is awesome and really good food. Plus the view is amazing.

Honua Kai is a great resort and this listing had everything we needed while traveling with a toddler. The extra bedroom and full kitchen were great perks. We would definitely stay here again

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The host was very quick to respond to any questions, and was very accommodating (i.e. we added another guest to the reservation after booking, which was no problem)! She was quick to help with any issue; when we checked in, we couldn't find a pack n play in the unit for our young daughter, and we wrote the host. She immediately responded and called, connecting us to a pack n play within minutes. Of note: the photos showing the view can make it appear the walk to the beach is long – but truly it is very short! The view in the photos is showcasing a further direction, the walk to the beach is just minutes. She unit was equipped with beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. The host also provided a lovely welcome gift of chocolates, which we loved!

Wonderful stay!

My family had a wonderful stay at the property - it was a perfect set up for us and a great location within the resort. Pool and beach were fun places to hang out, and there was easy access along the beach path to explore the other resorts along the beach.

Amazing unit!

The unit is excellent for a family. Very spacious and comfortable. The large balcony is a fantastic addition to this unit. Traveling with a family is wonderful; however, a unit with a kitchen and laundry is essential, which this unit provides. For sure, we will come back!
