20 meter frÄn havet och lÄga priser, Àr Mampoo Hill ett mycket speciellt östrandshus. Koppla av frÄn dÀcken med utsikten och ljudet av det lappande blÄvattnet med svagt palmande trÀd i mellan. Eller snorkla i avskildhet i "bakgÄrd" havet. Och titta pÄ dramatiska solnedgÄngar frÄn de lyxiga spa- eller loungestolarna pÄ övre eller nedre dÀck nÀr dagsljuset lyser frÄn trÀden och Karibiska havet.

Mampoo Hill (designad av den mest kÀnda arkitekten pÄ ön som ocksÄ gjorde den ikoniska Mongoose Junction) var noggrant utformad för att dra nytta av sin fantastiska, nÀrbelÀgna havsutsikt - frÄn varje rum. Denna sÀllsynta, vackra, öppna luftöarhemmet har ett stort luftkonditionerat sovrum med dubbelsÀng, king size-sÀng, queen size-futon soffa, bibliotek, takflÀktar, TV och internetuppkoppling medan gÀstrummet har tvÄ enkelsÀngar (det kan göra upp som en kung), en takflÀkt, AC, fjÀrrstyrd kabel-TV och ett badrum. BÄda har en spektakulÀr utsikt över stranden front. Njut av ett vackert renoverat kök, en gasgrill, spa och al fresco dining.

40th Anniversary Trip

We loved Mampoo Hill house. The open format of the house and the gorgeous view were amazing! We had everything we needed there. The rocky beach just below the house was beautiful and we snorkeled in the bay just down the beach. Loved it!

Fantastic house. Great view and falling asleep to the ocean waves at night was amazing. Stay on top of the jungle juice or learn the hard way mosquitoes are legitimately coming for you.

Dream Family Vacation

My husband and two teenage boys just got back from a week at Mampoo Hill. We had an amazing time staying at this gorgeous and unique house. The pictures don't even do it justice. The views from every part of the house are breathtaking and the house was clean and well stocked. We took advantage of the jeep which made our day trips much easier. Parking around the island was quite an experience but worked out. ;) Candice's artwork added to the overall beauty of the house. What a fantastic place to relax with my family. We hiked, snorkeled and loved the recommended restaurants. We hope to be back someday! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Incredible views

We absolutely loved our time at Mampoo Hill. The sunset views were amazing. The house was very clean and well kept. Pictures don't do justice. Jennifer & Craig were great to work with and we really enjoyed seeing all of Candice's art work around the house. We can't wait to return to St Johns and plan on booking this home again when we do.

Amazing Private Paradise by the Caribbean

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Awesome open concept home with a private, air conditioned bedroom on both sides of the common areas. Beautiful views and only a few steps from the shore. Clean, well stocked and maintained. 5 stars! Local support staff was awesome and available to address any issues. Highly recommended.

This house was amazing. Anyone looking for a true island experience---this is it. If we were to return to St. John, it would be based on the availability of Mampoo hill. Craig was so nice and helpful. Meeting us at the ferry is a definite plus. Loved it.

Beautiful location, close to town but feels private, amazing management experience

The cottage is right on a private (rocky) beach and you can hear the waves as you go to sleep, and see the sunset from the private deck. The property management went above and beyond to make the arrival/departure seamless (when I was late due to air travel issues, I was delivered the Jeep right to the ferry late at night!). Bring water shoes if you intend to use the beach!

Such a beautiful location! You must enjoy being outside because that is what this very comfortable house is all about! From cooking, dinning, stargazing and watching the iguanas! Waking up each morning to see that aqua blue water makes Mampoo Hill the place to stay and return to! Get the Jeep!

St. John Paradise

The property is right on a rocky/shell beach and excellent snorkeling is 200 yards away. The views are world class. The soothing sounds of the Caribbean are ever present. The home is an architectural wonder and blends into the beautiful Mampoo Hill. Depending on your mood, you could spend all your time at the house or drive 10 minutes to enjoy the great restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. All of the wonderful sights and beaches on St. John are within 20-30 minutes. Great Place!!!

Exactly as described—an extraordinary property

Mampoo Hill will go down as one of—if not THE—most extraordinary vacation properties we’ve ever experienced. The house is fun and well maintained, but words don’t do the scene, view, privacy, and lusciousness of the property justice. All the caveats shared by other reviewers are accurate—there are an abundance of no see ems, island life is unpredictable (power outages were a thing during our stay), etc—and this isn’t a “luxury” property in terms of sheer creature comforts, so go in with your eyes open. But we loved it and would definitely stay again! The owner and caretakers are fab, the jeep was great, and we are feeling very lucky to have spent 9 days in this special place.

This is an authentic beach front property with beauty and modern conveniences, 20 yards from the ocean on St. John, USVI. This true island home was designed by the famous Glenn Spear who also designed the iconic Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay. What's not to like?
