House was cozy and welcoming. Beds were a bit squeaky and the TVs a bit laggy, but it was overall comfortable and perfect for a weekend visit.

Need better mattresses. The pots and pans were dirty along with some of dishes. All in all it was nice.

In over 5 years of hosting have never had anyone complain about everything.. dishes are always clean as is the entire rest of the place.. they even complained about a missing light bulb an not having enough towels until they looked intelligent closet. I truly feel sorry for people this miserable about everything around them. The other listing reviews clearly show this is a very nice place to stay

Overall, a great place to stay for Lions/Packers game. I do have a few suggestions:Larger TV in the living room and an extra chair to sit on. Hand rail going up the stairs.

Green Bay weekend Game Stay

Nice smaller property with 4 bedrooms and one small bathroom.Older home but well taken care of, just very tight for 5 people (and it lists for 6).Easy to get around the town from this location in a nice neighborhood, but parking is extremely limited and tight. There is no overnight street parking in winter months.Probably best for 4 adults or small, young family

I had some difficulty communicating with the Host . This was the first time I had used vrbo which I explained during my first message. He told me I would receive check in info 2 days prior to arrival. I did not receive the info until I contacted the host less than 24 hours of arrival. Once I received all of the check in info. All of the check in process was as expected The property was clean. However, the first night it was very warm/ 82 degrees at night. The thermostat was not accessible. A note read that the air would be accessible once the temp reached a certain point berfore 80 degrees/ I think it was 78. The air never came on. The host had not been easy to reach prior so I did not contact him. The next night the weather was much cooler so the home was as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Responses were sent out on time ..as a first time user is important for guests to understand all communications come through the vrbo portal and need to be checked As is in the listing description there is no central air.. AC units are installed in the summer months and removed in September.. this year had a few days of record highs but if the windows are left open at night as in the house rules section.. the house cools off and stays cool through the day. It’s critical that guests review the entire listing and take the time to go through all the house rules and ask any questions they have of the host Hope this helps for future stays

Heat

House temp was set at 68 degrees which is too cold for senior citizens. Statement in rules there is a 35 up charge for turning the temp up. This was not a very comfortable experience or nights sleep. In addition the WiFi did not work.

Just to clarify.. there is no charge for changing the thermostat .. there is a charge for heating the house and having the windows open! Never said a word about adjusting the heat.. if guests need anything all they have to do is ask Unfortunately the WiFi was intermittent due to city power grid problems as the guest that stayed the previous 2 nights before had no issues. Again if there are ever any issues guests simply need to communicate with their host

Older addition with co fusing access

It foot the bill but wouldn't recommend. It was not a stand alone residence, a/c units were in windows and owner was giving us grief if they were run through the night. Glad it got me to the Packers game but wished I'd had better options.

Finding the location of the rental was difficult at first. We didn’t know it was a duplex and you can’t see the address from the street at night. There wasn’t any Wi-Fi connection in the rental which made it hard to find places to go. The shower did not once get remotely warm to be comfortable to take a shower in the freezing temps outside, also not having access to the thermostat made for sweaty nights. Otherwise a nice property to stay at and we enjoyed our time there but a few things to consider for the next guests. Also the price gouge for going during game time was not pleasing once I found out how cheap it is to stay there on offseason.

Place Acceptable, Service Not So Much

The property was pretty much as advertised, although somewhat more worn than the pictures. Neighborhood is marginal; there was loud rap music until 2 am on Saturday, but that might just be an unfortunate evening. Next door yard is full of destroyed playground equipment, and the yard of this rental is also lightly maintained. However, the inside was generally as advertised. The problem is that the owner's communication varied between non-existent and openly unfriendly. Four messages from us as renters requesting information only received a single sentence reply to the final one asking for a wifi password, in which the owner gave it to us only after scolding that "it's there" (it wasn't). No other question received the courtesy of any reply. Baths and kitchen were newer and very clean, but beds older and not very comfortable. We had an issue with hvac as well, as temps at night were high 40's and there was no way to turn on any heat; the thermostat is locked tight. This location is fine for a football weekend as a place to sleep, but we can't honestly recommend it for a couple or family visiting the area in other circumstances.

The property was completely renovated only 3 yrs ago so beds are virtually new and as described the property is “as advertised” As for the Wi-Fi all information is posted in the listing. The house temperature was never below 70 degrees . Unfortunately we do occasionally come across a guest that feels the need to gripe about every little thing .they feel isn’t perfect
