Looking for a place that is close to the beach? This unit your perfect choice being only steps away from the beach. You'll easily be able to come and go for lunch, snacks or just to get out of sun for a while. From the covered patio, you'll be able to enjoy the cool ocean breezes as you listen to the waves crash onto the shore and unwind from you fun-filled day. Located in Northern Ocean City, the unit is located near miniature golf, go-carts, a water park, Fisher's Popcorn and some of the best restaurants including the famous Crab Bag. Tax free shopping is only a short drive away and you'll be situated for a drive to the outlets in Rehoboth.

This nicely appointed unit has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. It has wood style laminate flooring throughout and is nicely furnished with plenty of seating for your group of four to relax and dine. For sleeping options you'll have a king size bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. You'll also appreciate the galley kitchen for making those cost saving meals at home. There is a washer/dryer combo in the condo for guest use and of course free Wi-Fi.

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Contactless check-in process. No waiting in line for a key.
* This is a non-smoking/ non-vaping unit.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 during the Memorial/Labor Day weekends or holidays.
* Check-in is 4pm and checkout is 10am.
* This condo is on the 1st floor. Ahoy is not an elevator building.
* One uncovered parking spot is provided. Additional street parking is available.
* Quick access to the beach
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 137th street.
* This unit includes bed linens, towel sets, hotel quality bathmats and kitchen hand towels.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* No extra stop at a separate office location required. Guests will receive complete check-in information via email prior to arrival.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 4 is also the maximum occupancy, including children and infants.
* Bed sizes are 1 King and a Full sleeper sofa

Great Location for Long Weekend

Wonderful experience!

The property is so close to the beach and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars. Easy to check in and out. The apartment was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! We loved it and will happily stay here again!!

Perfect

The condo was clean and updated. The beds where so comfortable we slept like babies ! Quiet street and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was perfect for us.

I would recommend this rental

Everything was very good about this rental. Only complaint is AC units were loud. Other than that, we loved this rental unit.

Cute condo for a couple very near the beach

Wonderful condo close to the beach. Loved the comfortable chairs on the balcony. This condo is the perfect size for a couple and is in a quiet beach neighborhood. The only issue is the brightness in the bedroom at night. The wooden blinds do not keep out the outside lighting, plus the lights on the air conditioner, humidifier and cable box keep the room in a semi bright glow. Bring a sleep mask if you like it dark.

Great location……not maintained

The unit was as advertised….great location and visually nice. The bed was comfortable. My only knock is the cleanliness. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out when we arrived. Three of them!!!! Bathroom was wiped but not cleaned. There were tons of layers of mold in the shower ……a squirt of tilex would have fixed. There was hair in the drain cover. Toilet brush was sitting in a holder full of gross yucky water. Went to cook breakfast…..just eggs snd there was no spatula in the kitchen. Cleaning and basic kitchen stocking of the unit was lacking.. the cleanliness of the unit eas really detracting.

The only positive was the location as the exterior was evident of an in progress extensive rehab. The inside of the condo was not clean at all. The mattress was old and extremely uncomfortable. The bedspread was discussing. We had to go out to the store to buy a blanket. There was a lack of nightstands and furniture to accommodate coffee and drinks. The kitchen was overall dirty. Floors were dirty and had a mechanical issue with kitchen light. The window ac unit didn’t work until we figured out the thermostat on the wall. Overall we were very disappointed with the rental

To our future guests- Before responding this review, we checked every avenue that is provided to our guests for any communication from this guest as to their concerns. A long list like this would be pretty memorable to a management company, yet we couldn't recall ever hearing from any guest who stayed here regarding such extensive issues. There are 3 different places in which they could have emailed, they could have called either of 2 phone numbers provided to all guests and/ or they could have put notes in their reservation on VRBO. Any of which we would have very quickly responded to and very easily solved the issues regarding their stay. That said, we kindly ask you to disregard this review and rely on the other reviews that tell a more accurate depiction of this condo and our service levels.

Reviewer Comments: we have stayed at a Benchmark Properties rental several times in the past and loved it. we thought we would try a different condo this time, just because. Unfortunately, Ahoy was not as enjoyable as our previous location and we would not stay there again. Location is the only plus. Otherwise, the unit is small, dingy and in need of some freshening up. We had to empty the dehumidifier in the bedroom at least once a day, and the room air conditioners were loud. While the unit is listed as big enough for four people, we found it small just for the two of us. Also, if you are planning on doing any cooking in the unit, beware that there are not many pots/pans etc. It could definitely be better stocked. Overall we'd recommend Benchmark Properties to anyone but just not this unit

We had some trouble with the TV, made a quick call to the help line, and it was fixed within minutes!For those who use GPS to travel, I would recommend that the owners provide the actual street address in their instructions. We very much enjoyed our stay, and I have recommended this property to friends and family already, and absolutely would like to come back again!

Overall a nice stay

Although there were a few damages that we saw once we arrived that we sent photos to property manager to aware them of the small damages to reassure it was not my husband and myself. Also the bed was missing a part that looks like it was broken off which is probably the reason to why the bed was pretty uncomfortable, long with damage to the wall where the headboard was so unfortunate we needed to contact property manager first day to make sure we would not be at fault. Overall though place was nice and very peaceful, and very quiet and peaceful part of ocean city

Quiet neighborhood street with little traffic and easy access to coastal highway attractions. Great location away from huge high rise buildings and crowds. Only suggestion to improve is kitchen, provide a full size coffee maker (not a 2cup pot), definitely need more silverware and we would have appreciated a better selection of pots to cook with, particularly a large pot for cooking the wonderful local sweet corn on cob or pasta.

Perfect July 4th week stay

Was a pleasure staying in this great renovated condo. Amazing location. Our own parking spot. Very easy access to the beach. We could not have asked for a better place for our 5 night stay over the holiday.
