This Storm Meadows Bldg sits lower on the ski mountain near where the “Right of Way” green run joins in with the bottom of the ski mountain near the old Christie Lift. The beauty of this location is your proximity to Torian Plum Plaza, Ski Time Square, and the new heated public promenade that connects all those locations together Steamboat also has a new permanent outdoor stage that is part of the revamped Gondola Square Plaza that will play host to public performances as well as the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series.

Located just steps from the slopes of The Steamboat Ski Resort (a true Ski-In condo), you can be one of the first in line at the gondola to experience one of our legendary “champagne powder days'! You also don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot in the morning, walking too far in your ski boots, or waiting on that bus that never seems to be on time!

When your legs have had enough for the day, venture back to the condo and soak in the outdoor hot tub, or warm your toes in front of the gas fireplace. For those that might need a break from the slopes, this condo is situated just a few hundred yards from the heart of Ski Time Square where exclusive shops and restaurants will be waiting for you.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Checking in was a breeze and there were ample key cards for 4 people in our group to each have.Access to skiing was quick and easy. Getting to the closest run was a 5 minute walk through stairs, sidewalk, and then some snow. Getting back was even easier; a little trail let you ski right up to the door and walk 10 steps to the elevator.

Nice Place

Great location, easy access to the ski hill and easy walk into the resort base. Only downside is the parking situation. If you have more than one car, you have to park in the nearby garage for 75/night. That adds up quick. Had a great time.

Convenient location on the slopes. Ski locker was nice. Elevator was broken the entirely of our stay, which meant we had to do 5 flights of stairs every time we went up/down to ski. Hot tub was dirty and had bugs. But otherwise a good, affordable place to stay.

Great stay in December

This condo is in an excellent location with great views. The check in process was very easy through the Vacasa app. We were worried the shared upstairss bathroom would be an issue for us but the sinks in the bedrooms made all the difference. It is a true ski in and easier than some of the other places we have stayed that the ski in was quite uphill. The walk out to right of way was very easy. Overall the condo is a little dated but it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. We would definitely book this one again!

Great location, way outdated condo

The 90’s called and they want their condo back. From broken drawers, to a dishwasher that does not clean the dishes, this condo needs a major update. I just wish I had brought all my dvd,s so I could have used the dvd player! And the hot tub was horrible. Scum around the edges and globs of hair. We didn’t even get in it. The location was great. Ski in and easy walk to the T Bar. Vacasa was pretty unresponsive. They only gave us one key card. But we don’t all ski together. So we asked for additional key cards as soon as we arrived. They finally got them to us the day before we left.

Safety Concerns and Poor Property Management

This home has multiple safety concerns, electrical issues, prongs sticking out of plugs that electrocuted me, ladder for the bunk bed is not connected and it is lopsided so it will not stand up causing my 5 year old to fall from the bunk. Downstairs tub doesn't have enough hot water for even halfway filled warm bath. Vacasa left us a key that didn't operate the door causing us to be locked out for HOURS in 16° weather with 3 babies and we had to find our own solution to as Vacasa did not have any urgency or helpful answers. Then vacasa won't speak to me about any of these issues as they just push the problem down to another person in a huge company and I start the discussion over from the beginning each time.

Stay Away!

This place was not what you think. The place was in need of a major renovation. The carpets are long past replacing. The pots and pans looked like they came from a bad yard sale ( mismatched, dirty, old). The window by the stairs was ready to fall out (don't try to open it). There was a hole in the living room where there was an old electrical outlet (.wires are still there). There was no plate cover on a bedroom outlet. The microwave had a big crack in the door (also didn't cook well). The refrigerator door was literally held together by duct tape. As stated in previous reviews, the dryer did not work ( major problem with 2 small children.) I called the property managers ( VACASA) and they promised to be right out to fix it. They never did. The balcony had some loose boards. The sliding glass door needed two people to open it. The shower handle wasn't attached. Two water lines switched hot and cold. If you want to ski/hike and party, this is you place. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

What we loved: -Being able to ski in and out, was a perk. -Waking up every morning to the mountain views were refreshing. -Having access to the ski lockers daily was great. -Being able to get a good sleep every night on comfortable beds were essential considering that we were skiing all day. (Beds were comfortable) What we didn't like: -Upon arriving to the place for the first time there was a strong foul ordor, as if someone threw up or perhaps haven’t changed the vacuum bags in months… We had to air out the place; but kept the door wall opened most of the time. -Upon arriving, there were No Hand towels for the bathrooms. We had to contact them to ask for some, and they provided them within 24 hours. -Upon arriving there were No dish towels to dry dishes with. We had to contact them to ask for some, and they provided them within 24 hours. -Appliances are outdated: The dryer did not function properly, therefore we were not able to dry our clothes from skiing. - With two families, there is a need for 4 keys, incase some want to ski and others want to join the hot tub or perhaps run to the grocery store. -Some said the hot tub was scolding hot while others said it was tolerable. -There was only one trash bag for the entire week. Knowing that we were staying for a week, they only provided one trash bag and then shared with us that they only provided starters. We had to contact them to ask for some, and they provided them within 24 hours. Future travelers, bring your own trash bags, -There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, in particular knifes and bowls. We actually had wash them prior to using them for our cooked meals. -Smoke alarm is did not work and was hanging off the wall.

This place was a complete dump. Nothing worked, doors hanging off hinges, dirty, smoke alarm and light fixtures hung off the walls by wires, no hot water to shower, the carpets were stained and smelled, the dishes in the kitchen were put away dirty and unwashed, dryer didnt work. I called Vacasa several times to be left on hold for extended time and sent numerous emails no response.

Great place to stay for a family. Only concern was the dryer was not working. We booked the rental place with in-unit washer/dryer since we have young kids and it was disappointing it didn't work. Beyond that the place was wonderful.

Wonderful walk-out, ski-in location and beautiful view! Fit our group of six perfectly. Ski lockers on the first floor are great, as well. The unit does need a very deep cleaning. The carpets have huge stains, there were scores of dead flies, and there were huge dust icicles hanging from the deer head. We did a lot of cleaning (including shop vacuuming the deer!) so hopefully the next person will have a better experience. With just a little work, this unit would be a 5! I do recommend this place if you don’t mind doing some cleaning!

Overall good...but...

We loved the condo. Plenty of space. Everything worked and the view was awesome. The amenities at the resort were great and easily walkable. Two things of note that keep this from being a 5 star review. 1) There is no AC in this condo. That needs to be more obvious in the description. We kept the windows and sliding door open, but the wind blew parallel to the condo so getting a good breeze was difficult. And Steamboat was warmer than usual. 2) There was renovation being done in the condo next door, which means we were awakened to the sounds of hammering and sawing every morning at 8am. Otherwise, it's a great place and a good price for the area. We are a family of 6 and never felt crowded.

Had a great time. Condo was nice and clean. Only issue was we had a steamboat police officer knock on our door at 930 pm on a Friday night. He informed us we were being too loud ( which was because we were watching the Nuggets game). I asked if there was a quiet hour time and the response was there isn’t a quiet hour in steamboat, rather they operate off disturbing the peace or comfort of your home- which to me is some pretty hoity-toity nonsense, especially at 9:30 on Friday. No citations were given but we received an official warning and were told if he comes back we will be fined/ticketed. Unless you plan on going to bed at 9pm each night of your stay.. look elsewhere!
