Hang your hat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice house! Rooms stayed nice and cold, pool & hot tub were amazing. Our only issue (and it’s a small one) if you plan on cooking for a large group bring a few deep pots, we needed larger pans for making sides and all we could find was one small stock pot. Overall great house and we plan on staying there again.

Great Multi-Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great rental for multiple families to stay under one roof. The pool is just the right size and the hot tub is a great amenity. The range had a broken top glass, it did not affect the cooking, just made us a little scared to put anything heavy on it; property management did advise us of this during check in. The BBQ pit had a damaged smoker, we just used a direct heat to BBQ hot and fast, again small detail but overall GREAT experience with another FRVR property.
Response from VrboOwner on Jul 2, 2024
We are happy to hear you had a great time! The stove top has been replaced, unfortunately it was on order while you were there, and finally arrived soon after you left. Hats Off!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great home! Accommodation for our crew was good. Nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom +1 out by the pool. The stovetop was cracked, but still worked. However, we did most of the cooking outside and/or all ready brought prepared food from home, so it wasn't much an issue. Only suggestion would be nice if there were speakers outback to enjoy music as we spend most of our time outside. Would definitely book again if it accommodates our crew members next year. Easy check in and check out.:)
Response from VrboOwner on Jun 26, 2024
Thank you for the review, Donna. Hang your Hat is an amazing house in a great location, and the owner just completed a new house next door called Concan Cowboy. So, if your crew does grow, then we have you covered with an additional home right next door. We're glad you enjoyed your stay, and we hope to see you again soon. Just AWFUL... How nice this rental was!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I walked in stressed and walked out wondering if I could leave my real life behind. The vibe? Relaxation level: expert. I sat on the couch for five minutes and forgot my own name. The shower pressure alone deserves its own star. From the moment I walked in, I forgot all my worries... except how I was going to leave. The bed? Comfier than my life choices. The view? So good I considered quitting my job to stay longer. The host? Friendlier than my own family. I came for a getaway and left wondering if I could legally change my address. I might need to book a doctors appointment cause this vacation rental was SICKKK! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the comfy bed to the shower pressure and those views, it sounds like you truly made the most of your getaway. We’re honored to have been a part of such an epic vacation and can’t wait to welcome you back—no address change necessary! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pass on this one

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: List of this this huge house didn’t have. 1. large pots 2. Broom or dust pan 3. Working hot tub (I had to call and have someone come and show me how to turn the night lights on using the breaker box and eventually tell me that bubbles setting for the hot tub was out of order.) Then this same man came to the house randomly telling us there “might” be a leak in the house because the meter had run continuously for 2 hours. He said he tried calling before but I didn’t have any missed call or poor reception. That was just an inconvenience no wants to have on vacation. There’s plenty of house along the Frio, luckily.
Response from VrboOwner on Aug 14, 2023
Hang your Hat is one of the most desired rentals in all of Concan, and we greatly appreciate your staying with us. It is unfortunate that we had problems with the Hot Tub remote controls during your stay, but a new remote was ordered and shipped out of Florida. It has been installed, and all controls of the hot tub are fully functional. All of our homes come with brooms, dust pans, and mops. On occasion, our cleaning staff may inadvertently load an item from the house with their cleaning equipment. When something like that is missing, just one call to our office, and we would have had a replacement for the missing item promptly delivered. During your stay, we received notice from Concan Water Supply that they had detected continuous flow through the water meter for over two hours. That is normally an indication of a water leak, which we take very seriously for obvious reasons.

Loved the location/service but Pool did not heat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, loved the location and service was amazing, but the pool did not heat up, tiles/grout were dirty/not maintained, outdoor stools were rusted and stained clothing if sat upon. No games indoors for night time. Had to bring hand/dish soap and toilet/hand paper towels. Dining tables didn’t fit our party of 32 and had to split breakfast/lunch/dinner times. We purchased linens but had to put bedding on ourselves. There were enough cooking utensils and pots/pans. Dishwasher/Washer were in working condition. The customer service was the best and very prompt. The location was near Garner State park and many convenience stores near by.
