OCEANFRONT STUDIO CONDO

This oceanfront studio condo is located on the 10th floor of the Valley Isle Resort and offers unbelievable views through its floor to ceiling windows and private lanai. Ideally located 5 minutes south of Kapalua and 10 minutes north of Kaanapali you are just steps to Kahana beach and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shopping and more. You'll be a short distance from Maui's world-famous golf courses and many world class beaches - a snorkeler’s delight!

The property offers free parking and free WIFI.

You will arrive to a newly remodeled and well appointed reception area with luggage carts for your convenience.

There is lush well maintained landscaping throughout the grounds, a heated saltwater swimming pool, two outdoor showers (poolside and at the beach), gas BBQ grills, herb garden and coin-operated laundry facilities on the third floor.

Be lulled to sleep as you hear the waves and feel the breeze of the Maui trade winds. You have a front row seat for whale watching (in season) and wind and kite surfers when the waves and winds are to their liking. You may even see some large sea turtles swimming by! This is paradise at its best!

There is a garden on the property near the pool and BBQ area. Herbs, bananas and other produce may be available during your stay.

NOTICE: The following may impact your stay. Review carefully.

Kahana Beach was greatly impacted by a hurricane in 2016 sustaining damage to its beach. Sandbags have been installed along the shoreline to address the situation. The photos for this listing were taken Oct. 2021. You may view current conditions by clicking on the link here: https://www.valleyisleresort.com/projects.htm

This is a small unit so is limited to 3 guests. If there are 4 in your party you are invited to contact me for consideration. The condo has a well equipped kitchen however, it is very small and there is no dishwasher. We trust that it will meet your needs.

Accommodations include a queen size bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. Because the hinges on the sofa bed can tear the bedding when closed the sofa bed will not be made up prior to your arrival. If using the sofa bed the pillows and linens are stored in the closet. Please leave the bed open to avoid tearing the bedding or strip the sheets prior to closing.

Additionally, the Valley Isle Resort has scheduled water shut-offs from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM on the following dates. Please plan ahead.
- 2025: March 9th, June 8th, Sept. 14th, and Dec. 14th
If no one signs up for water shutdown the water will remain on, however, this is a full disclosure a water shut down is planned and may impact your vacation if you don't plan ahead. Please be aware that when the water is turned back on it may take some time to return to normal.

Great stay!

A great spot with an incredible view! Turtles, whales, dolphins, and rainbows all from the lanai! Host was really great to deal with. Would definitely go back again!

Retirement/Bucket List

The views from this ocean, westward facing unit are amazing! The owners were very responsive. We enjoyed the location as it was out of the real busy areas. We came to see whales and that’s what we saw from our location. We also saw sea turtles, a shark and a manta! Mahalo Gwen and Dennis!

Incredible ocean views

Condo was clean and exactly as pictured in the photos and has spectacular views from lanai. It’s in an excellent location close to several beaches and snorkeling spot, restaurants, shopping for any of your desires. Or just relaxing on the lanai and enjoying watching whales and all the water activities. Molokai feels like you can reach out and touch it. We had excellent communication with owner and fast responses. We would enjoy staying again and hope to be back very soon.

Dream Vacation

We had a time of our lives in this gorgeous condo that had everything one may need. The view cannot possibly be described, the place is immaculate with cute little kitchen with everything needed. The host was fantastic, she dealt with a small wi-fi glitch immediately and we felt comforted that she would be there for just about anything. We vowed to return to this little heaven on earth.

Excellent Maui property

The property was fantastic. The location was perfect and the view off of the balcony was gorgeous! We saw whales and turtles every day. We will definitely look to book this unit again.

Amazing!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with this condo and the view it gave! absolutely amazing and just what we were looking for. Condo was clean and had everything that we needed - the chairs, beach towels, cooler, and snorkel flippers were used daily! If we weren’t out exploring Maui, we were sitting on the Lanai watching whales (the views are unmatched!) or looking at turtles swimming below us. The beach close to the condo had a Monk Seal who frequently visited and also many turtles who came up onto the beach. We couldn’t have been more pleased with communication from our host! Thank you for a great stay!

Great overlook in Maui

The owner Gwen was great to communicate with. The property is beautiful and in great condition. Do note there is no AC or Dishwasher. The breeze cools the places down very quickly. The sounds of the waves at night are the best. We saw numerous whales and a couple turtles outside our balcony. It was nice there is a liquor store, restaurants, and gas station across the street. Make sure you check out the food truck fair, and the Maui Fish Market for great food.

Condo and More

The place is very clean and very well decorated. Owner very easy to communicate too and very accommodating, The More is all the goodies on the patio that make your beach day very comfortable and very active. Chairs,Board,Snorkels etc...... Very glad we booked that unit. RBC

Oceanfront Stay with Everything You Need

We enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront condo! They had everything we needed for our stay including snorkel gear, beach towels, coolers and more! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with essential kitchen appliances and utensils. My favorite part was going to sleep and waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean.

Excellent view, great location

Nice little studio condo, lots in the room for your stay, very responsive owner. Watched turtles in the morning and afternoon, falling stars in the evening. Good restaurants and grocery/liquor stores a very short walk away. Would have liked air conditioning and the ceiling fan was inoperable during our stay, but opening both doors made enough draft to get by. Had a great time, would check here if I return in the future.

Nice view

We saw tortoises from the balcony every morning! The location is great, with many good restaurants within 10min drive. The only potential improvement we can see is installing an AC. It will be hot in the evening. A trick we found is that opening the door and letting the wind in. It will quickly cool down the room.

Amazing Stay

Paradise oceanfront view

I stayed here with my family (4). The condo is on the best location, oceanview and steps to the beach, most of the time i stay in the patio with my tea and cookies watching the waves and swimmers. The view is refreshing and stress-relieving, it gives serenity and peace. At night I and my hubby drink our cocktails at we witnessed the sunset and later on as it gets dark the starts and moon. We leave the patio screen open all night and can hear the waves all night long. The owner is nice and kind responds quick to any concern. The size is small but we were able to manage and enjoy! Thanks Gwen for letting us stay.

Excellent View and overall a great experience

Gwen is a great host and very responsive. The apartment has an impeccable view. Would have given 5 stars if wasn’t for the following: next door is being renovated. At times the sound of drilling would wake up our infant baby during his nap time. The apartment could use some maintenance like the balcony bug screen does not close tight and there is big holes. We had two moths in the room at separate times. Overall it was a great experience.

Perfect view and location

Beach was great (don’t let the sand bags scare you off), the view was fantastic, we sat on the deck every morning and evening! Good communication with property owner! Quiet after 10:00!

My name is Gwen McNeilus and I'm the daughter of Dennis and Marge McNeilus. Mom and Dad purchased this condo in 1995 and have shared their little slice of Maui paradise with guest for over 25 years. They have hosted many satisfied guests who return to this unit year after year. Maui is a special place! I remember Dad taking me snorkeling and introducing me to the underwater wonderland to be found off west Maui. Mom loves the sound of the ocean and the security of the shore! We have made many happy memories here. Once dad brought a frozen turkey to Maui in his bowling bag to enjoy on Thanksgiving!

Mom has managed the property herself, decorated, coordinated repairs and updates over the years and is now ready to slow down a bit. I have been passed the torch and it is my hope that Maui becomes a special place where memories are made which you will always treasure!

Maui nō ka ʻoi means "Maui is the best" and it is a pleasure to share this special place with our guests.
