Whispering Waters Cabin on The Creek

Whispering Waters Cabin was built in the late 1940's adjacent to a great spring in rural Northwestern Williamson County. The structure did not have any indoor plumbing until 1992, when I got tired of using the outhouse and washing in the creek under the bridge. The setting is surrounded by woods and lots of water, wildlife critters and many varieties of birds, including my two favorites; the Wood Thrush and seasonal Humming Birds. It's a quiet spot in an otherwise busy and congested world, that offers a safe haven for as long as the guest wishes to stay. The front porch is a wonderful resting spot to listen to the creek and birds. The cabin itself has only four rooms, but they are spacious and inviting. The fully supplied kitchen is ready for "gourmet" visitors interested in all things "gastronomical"! Or simply order out! There is on the property a large organic garden that I tend to all year, and a berry patch with in season blueberries galore! Nuff said -

Perfect quiet stay!

Stuart’s cabin was a perfect quiet get away for my husband and I! He was a great host and very kind! Would love to stay here again, especially in the fall or when it’s cooler so we can really enjoy the outdoors!

Creekside bliss with a side of Humming birds!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Even though it was just for one night, we enjoyed the coziness it provided. Everything was provided and was very clean. We enjoyed coffee in the morning while listening to the creek, the birds, and the hummingbirds feeding on the front porch. It was an easy drive to the concert venue. The decor inside was nice and we enjoyed the photos and history of the cabin. The bed slept great and we are glad we chose this little cabin by the creek. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone!!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. Sweet little cabin and we were greeted with fresh flowers. Also hot teas available. Such a nice stay and Stuart was such a great host!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and it was beautiful! We used ingredients from the garden everyday for dinner and enjoyed getting our feet wet in the crystal clear creek. The house came with everything you need to make your trip perfect. It’s in a peaceful location and feels secluded but also close enough to Nashville. I can’t wait to go back!

Magical Little House

Stuart is amazing at communicating. The house is absolutely perfect. It feels like you are very remote but it’s actually very close to town. We had everything and more that we needed during our stay. The landscaping is perfect and the snowball bush brought back wonderful memories of my Aunt’s garden with one that I loved as a child. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book this house.

We love this cabin! We needed an overnight stay on our drive from NJ to Texas with our dog. Property is exactly as listed. It’s well-decorated and a cozy place to stay. We also enjoy getting dinner over at Jefferson’s nearby.

Cozy and well stocked cabin, comfortable bed and comfortable pull out couch accommodated two couples. Stuart was very accommodating and helpful. Whispering Waters Cabin Haven

This is the place to be when you need to get away from a crazy, hectic life. Stuart is a superb host and makes sure his guests are comfortable and satisfied. Beautiful and Quiet

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and peaceful. There was calming running water nearby that we could hear. It was quiet and secluded. I am a 7th generation Tennessean raised in Nashville. My parents are cousins, who met for the first time when they were mere children. That makes my siblings my cousins as well. Welcome to the South! I moved to this country setting in Williamson County in December of 1990. The cabin had no indoor plumbing, no insulation in the walls, and a "used to the max" outhouse. So I dug a deep hole and made a new one. Yes, in the dead of winter, it is a race to and from, but I would change nothing for the first couple of years spent here. If nothing else, I makes one appreciate so many things that are otherwise taken for granted in our First World Nation!

I spend most of my time out doors in the landscape and gardening industry. Reading is one of my greatest pastimes (English major in college, History minor). I grow vegetables on the property, organically, of course! Sustainability issues specifically and environmental stewardship in general are passions of mine, which I am always happy to share with any guest that is interested.
