Do Not Book!!
Firstly, Host is terrible about communicating, we received check-in information 30 minutes after it was supposed to be given which was not even provided until the time you are allowed into the house making traveling there to arrive at check in very difficult. The property was not remotely as advertised, leading me to believe this is an intentional scam.
Secondly, We did not even get to stay in this house because when we arrived the air conditioning was not functioning (it was 97° inside the house) and the place had not been cleaned (floors were covered in sand/dishes in the strainer/stains in bathrooms/ etc..). The “master bedroom” is a shoe box, does not have an en suite bathroom, and the photos of the house are not accurate as it is located in the ghetto.
Thirdly, When we were then moved to an alternate location, after sitting in the 97° house for two hours waiting for reply’s from owner on how to fix this situation; it was 5 miles further from our intended destination and was also dirty with sand all over the floors, two less beds, no washer and dryer, no living or dining room area, was a connected condo not a house, and did not even have bedrooms. It also only had one shower which is ridiculous as the listing advertised sleeping 12 people. The host also did not have a vrbo link to this alternate location, leading me to believe it was not a VRBO property but rather somewhere cheap they were planning on sticking us from the start.
This should be taken off the website.
