A TX Beach Vacation home. The Hippo Hut is perfect for entertaining. Whether its playing cornhole, darts, horseshoes or ping pong downstairs. Our upstairs has anoversized deck great for enjoying a morning cup of coffee watching the sunrise or enjoying a cocktail andthe evening breeze. Home has aninviting yet spacious living area; kitchen hasfor You are just a short walk to the beach. We are located about 8 miles from the Boliver/Galveston ferry.
Hippo Hut was completed January 2021. This beauty is located in Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar. Tastefully furnished spacious living area, quartz 10’ countertop with 4 barstools and stainless-steel appliances throughout the kitchen. The dining area has seating for ten, host dinners and get together with your family and friends in the wide-open floor plan. All three bedrooms have Smart TV’s. There is Wi-Fi throughout the home.
Master bedroom has a King size bed, built in shelves, clothes rack in the closet & 65” Smart TV.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed, built in shelves, clothes rack in the closet and a 65” Smart TV.
Bedroom 3 has Twin size bunk bed with trundle/hide away bed and a Full-size bed, built-in shelves and clothes rack in the closet. This room has a 55” Smart TV
Bonus bunk room has two twin size beds.
Two Full Baths (Master has huge walk-in shower, second bath tub/shower combo).
Features: Flat screen Smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, Roku TV, washer/dryer, towels/linens, central AC/heat, whole house dehumidifier, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster oven, blender, full size coffee pot, single serve unit and hair dryers.
Outdoor Features: Table Tennis/Ping Pong, darts, oversized Connect Four, tabletop Jenga, Ladders, Horseshoe, Corn Hole, beach toys and Charcoal Grill, Large oversize upper deck with table, high top and Adirondack chairs up/downstairs.
Items we Provide: Limited amounts of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, trash can liners towels and linens.
Items you may want to bring: Personal hygiene products, beach towels, sunblock/aloe vera, mosquito spray, umbrella/canopy, beach chairs and additional beach toys.

Had great stay at hippo hut!

We had a family gathering for two nights at the hippo hut. We were all very impressed with the property! It was clean, spacious, and in close proximity to the beach. The a/c worked great and was a welcomed change in temperature after being at the beach all day. The owner was quick to respond to questions I had leading up to our arrival. One adjustment I would make is the ping pong paddle handles were broke, making it difficult to use the ping pong table. Overall, we would definitely stay at this property again!
