Summary:

Canal side charmer with marsh views!



The Space:

This canal-side home sits on the bay side of the peninsula, and has views of water all around. You'll enjoy the marsh views from the high backed chairs on the upper deck.



The spacious, well-equipped kitchen, with a regular drip coffee pot, has plenty of room for preparing meals. You'll appreciate the modern appliances and large island with seating! It opens to the comfortable living area with a flat screen TV and high speed internet. This great room is bright and welcoming, with coastal decor.



The primary bedroom has a queen bed, television, and a large ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a gorgeous soaking tub. Bedrooms two and three also feature a queen bed each, while the fourth bedroom has two sets of twin over twin bunk beds for the kids!



After a day of bay fishing or enjoying the beach, wash away the sand in the outdoor shower, then prepare your dinner on the downstairs charcoal grill as the sun sets on the peninsula. Your family will make memories you'll treasure at Rays a Hallelujah!



No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful, the location worried us at first. It was nice and quiet though. Good location to a lot of activities we were doing but away from all the hustle and bustle. It would have been nice to have the beds made before our arrival and essentials like trash bags and dishwasher detergent. Overall, it was a good experience.

The house is super nice but really could use more for the money that’s being charged. The road the house is on is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend driving a small car to this property until they fix the road. The neighbors are really cool and the fishing in the canal is a lot of fun. It’s a very quiet area. Simply not worth the money in my opinion. We stay down here several weeks out of the year and I can honestly there are a lot better deals. Drop the rental rates about 20%, add some TVs to the rooms, make sure linens are included, get the downstairs some character (tiki bar maybe an Tv) and get the road fixed…. The place has alot of potential.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pulling up we were worried because there was construction equipment around. We just wanted a peaceful vacation. We definitely got one! Quietest, most peaceful rental we’ve ever had. My hubby & cousin could fish & crab 100 yards from the front door. Us wives could watch from the front door & go out if they caught anything. They caught A LOT! It was perfect! We already have plans of coming back to the same rental house next year. The house needs a few tiny things fixed (front door handle, better clean the comforters & vacuum beds off before next guests). Other than that we had the best vacation!

They door was hard to open and close and the house swayed when someone was walking up and down the stairs or on the porch. Our overall experience was great and we would definitely stay again.
