Ready to relax? Our brand new home is less than 5 minutes away from Anchorage Marina at Lake Burton!! Bring your boat and water toys, there's plenty of driveway space to park!! The home is centrally located for easy access to the shopping, outdoor markets, antique shops and farm to table restaurants in downtown Clayton, Lakemont, Dillard and Hiawasee! Tiger Mountain and Stonewall Creek Vineyards are both 10 minutes away in the nearby town of Tiger! For the adventure seekers, the home provides easy access to the Appalachian Trail, 3 fantastic state parks (Moccasin Creek, Tallalulah Gorge and Black Rock Mountain), Rabun Bald, Hemlock Falls, Minnehaha Falls and so much more within minutes!

After enjoying the lake, hiking and wineries relax in this new mountain home while enjoying the peaceful sound of the creek and gazing up at the stars!! With 4 comfortable bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens, 1 full, 1 bunk bed and a futon), each with brand new mattresses, bedding and the latest decor, you’ll get a great nights rest. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need for a family meal. Whether you decide to take your morning coffee or sunset cocktail from the lounge at the fire table, the back patio overlooking the soothing creek or the deck off the master bedroom you are sure to find relaxation.

There’s plenty of fun for the kids as well! Each bedroom, the game room and the living room has its own Roku TV. The living room is stocked with board games and the adjacent game room is a great spot for the kids complete with a 2 player arcade and a foosball table!

Checkout the two marinas nearby -Anchorage Marina is a 5-minute drive and Laprades Marina is about a 10-minute drive, and both also rent pontoon boats.

Weekend getaway

Perfect place for our family to stay! The little ones loved playing in the creek while the older grands enjoyed a game of whiffle ball on the front lawn. We did not bring our boat but there was plenty of room to park a boat to put in at Lake Burton!

This home was clean, spacious and trendy! Loved the open concept of den, kitchen and eating area! We had 8 in our party and were able all visit and hang out together! We loved the downtown area of Clayton. The house was centrally located, yet peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful property!

This is an excellent place to stay. Our family stayed here and we cooked our Thanksgiving meal and enjoyed each others company. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect! Quiet area. You’re able to get out and walk to check out the scenery too. We hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful Vacation Home

This was our third time staying here with our family and we will definitely be booking it again for next summer!! The location is wonderful--close to Clayton, Lake Burton and Lake Rabun. There are wonderful hikes--Minnehaha Falls and Sliding Rock just to name two. The house is very well appointed with a wonderful wrap-around deck, a large, grassy field beside it and a delightful little creek behind with "critters" for the kids to catch! The game room with a foosball table and arcade game is a big hit with the kids!! The owners are very responsive if any issues arise which is always important. Love staying here!!

Lovely stay, easy access, great communication

Jeff was in touch with us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and secluded without feeling like you are far from everything. There's a small convenience store 5 minutes away and less than 15 minutes into Clayton proper, where all the fantastic restaurants are. Lots of lovely outdoor spaces we didn't get to enjoy due to the weather, but that would be fantastic in warmer (and dryer) times. We'll be back!

Worst VRBO Experience

This was the worst VRBO experience we’ve had. The owners were not available for communication when necessary. There were loud noises under the home for a whole night that they brushed off and we were charged a large amount of money for “damages” that were either not caused by us or were over exaggerated. I’m sure the owners will have some sort of rebuttal to this…just posting this to warn future guests. Beautiful place but not worth the scam.

Wonderful family vacation home!

This is our second year, staying at this property and it suits our needs exactly! The house has a great location – – just 15 minutes from Lake Burton and even closer to Clayton. There is a large grassy field for throwing frisbees and a small creek filled with little critters. The house is well appointed and pretty well stocked. Inside, the house is very clean and attractive. There are three porches with tables and chairs, and even a fire pit. However, none of the outside had been cleaned for a while, and it took a bit of time to sweep up all the leaves and sticks and wipe down the furniture so we could use these wonderful spaces. There is also an indoor game room that the children absolutely loved! The master bedroom is huge with a generously sized walk in closet and good-sized master bath. Two of the bedrooms are smallish with comfortable queen size beds. One bedroom has a dresser and shelves inside the closet, but the other bedroom has absolutely no place to put your clothes or anything else, except for two bedside tables with lamps. They really need either shelving inside the closet or some kind of dresser in there. The third bedroom has a bunkbed and a double bed – – great for the kids. There’s also a futon in the game room. It could be used as a bed if needed. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Wonderful vacation home!

Our family comes to this area every year for an extended family reunion at Lakes Burton and Rabun, so this location was perfect for us. We were 6 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 15 mo. to 12 years. There are two smallish, very nice bedrooms with queen beds for 4 of the adults and one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds where the 3 oldest kids slept. We gave the large master bedroom with a generous walk-in closet and large master bath with a lovely tiled shower to our son and daughter-in-law with the 15-month old and the 3-yr.-old as they were able to put the pack 'n play in the large closet and there was plenty of space in the room for the 3-yr.-old. The home is well-appointed with a spacious open floor plan. We all liked having everything on one floor. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire house was so clean and inviting! This home was perfect for kids! There is a very large grassy area (the kids practiced their fly fishing casting) and a wonderful creek with crawdads and little fish that was an endless source of fun for the kids. And inside the house there is a room with a foosball table and electronic games! The only drawback at all was that 4 adults and 3 kids had to use the one bath with a tub/shower combo and (thank goodness) a half-bath, but that was a relatively minor inconvenience considering all the pluses! We will definitely come again!!

New Years stay in the North GA mountain cabin

We chose this property for a NY's getaway with a small group of friends. We had no problem finding the property via GPS. The cabin was well appointed, with plenty of space to relax, and the kitchen was well stocked. The whole place was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. The floor plan worked well for the 8 of us. It rained pretty much the whole time we were there, but we did get in a short hike, and there are many available hiking options nearby. Some of us went into town and enjoyed the tour around there, as well. We would recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a mountain getaway. Thanks Jeff.

Lookout Ridge near Lake Burton

This home is beautiful and great for a large crowd! We would enjoy staying again. Could be made better by sending renters a pdf about the home and process, adding in that the hot water is backwards would be wonderful. In the fall/winter time if check in is at 4 and the town closes at 5 many people will get to the property after dusk has set in. Having it well lit as well as instructions that GPS says it's on the right instead of the left would be great! It was a real bummer to not be able to use the wood burning stove, but it wasn't needed for warmth just nice to have. All in all we'd love to use the home again and the owners are wonderful people!
