In the heart of the village of Argentière, you'll enjoy immediate access to the glacier and hikes. The Grands Montets skilift is 1km away. All essential shops, including supermarket, restaurants, bars, etc. are just few steps away. Although we're happy to advise you personally, here are a few of our favorites:
➤L'Alpain: The best bakery in the area! Go there with your eyes closed, everything is made on the spot the same day. Our favorite is the blueberry “patte d'ours”.
➤ La crèmerie du glacier: Whether on foot in summer or on skis in winter, the crèmerie is for me the restaurant not to be missed. Right in the middle of the mountains, you can enjoy a cheesy "croute" with genepi while taking in the lush natural surroundings
➤ (Re)discover cross-country skiing:
Rent your cross-country skis at Intersport (1850 Rte d'Argentière) and get your boots on to set off on a circuit that takes you through the forest and across pretty streams. Don't hesitate to stop for a bite to eat along the way at the crèmerie du glacier.
➤La P'tite Verte:
If you appreciate the charm of more traditional restaurants, consider making a reservation at La P'tite Verte. Here you can eat all kinds of cheese specialities.
➤Fubar:
Head to Fubar to debrief on your day on the slopes, play ping pong / billiards / take a ride on the mechanical bull and drink a few beers with friends.
➤ L'Argentero:
Grab a beer after a long day of skiing at the Argentero at the bottom of the slopes, in high season there's often live music.
For those travelling by car, private parking space available in a garage. Free parking solutions are also available around the property if you have a 2nd vehicle.
Bus stop (Argentière La Fis) and train station (Mont Blanc Express) are just 500m away, so you can explore the valley with our carte d'hôtes.
