we loved the little cottage. It was perfect for our family of four. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed including plastic cups for the kids. The entire place was clean and organized well. We had a lovely stay and will probably book again in the future.

Good stay

The Bathroom was extremely small. There were also ants coming from vent under kitchen table. Refrigerator had water leaking on the floor. Otherwise a good stay.

Excellent location

We are from KY. Trip was scheduled for my son’s doctor appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. We chose this location because it is close to family and about 40 minutes from the Cleveland Clinic. Safe and secure area!!

Relaxing Riverview

This property is one of the neatest, cleanest properties we have rented. We loved spending mornings and weekends on the porch drinking our coffee and tea and enjoying the peace and quiet of the river and the gentle breezes. This had been our second time at Cottonwood and we were as pleased this time as the first time. It would have been our third visit if it had been available last year, but due to circumstances we had to come up north at a different time last year and it was booked. The owners are great to deal with and we had no problems during either of our stays. An outstanding property!

Very nice stay place and would definitely recommend. conveniently located and had everything we needed. Only issue was the internet kept kicking us out while trying to watch a movie and the internet was slow, aside from that it was wonderful.

Great Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well appointed and very clean. We loved all the extra touches like nice bedding and wine and cheese on arrival. Really cute place, nicely updated! Nice walkable neighborhood. Thanks for hosting us!

Vermillion Vacation

First and foremost we arrived early and the homeowner was still there cleaning, I specifically introduced myself and had asked if it was ok to walk my dogs around the neighborhood on leashes while she finished up cleaning the cottage, the moment we met there was a distinct feeling that she was feeling annoyed or “ put out” we certainly were not made to feel “ welcome “ in ANYWAY. I was immediately told not to walk my dogs past the home to the left of the cottage as there are 2 rescue dogs that live there that are very “ reactive “ to other dogs, fine no problem we went the opposite direction. I have been a dog trainer for 25 years, my dogs go where I go or we don’t go, period. I do not lie or omit I’m bringing my dogs with ANYONE they are part of our family, this particular cottage/VRBO should absolutely NOT state it is a pet friendly cottage, we have stayed in MANY places and I have never had a place be more NON pet friendly in my life. There is absolutely not one blade of grass on this property for your dog to relieve itself anywhere, the entire lot is gravel, my dogs do not go to the restroom on gravel, each time my dog needed to use the restroom they had to be loaded up in my vehicle and driven to a public grassy area, this is absolutely ridiculous and clearly put a damper on our stay. The neighbors directly next door had rescues that barked NON STOP at every single movement we made. It is beyond clear the owners wanted to collect the fee for pets but wanted NONE there.

Relaxation Vacation

The cottage and property were clean and quaint. The views were lovely and the neighbors were kind. The entrance was via an open staircase. Our dogs took some practice to get used to this but it wasn't an obstacle. The owners were delightful. They answered all questions and all directions were easy to follow. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese, and crackers. All attractions were nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Cottage

We have family across the river but have outgrown staying with them as we have 3 kids and travel with our dogs. We needed our own space and this was perfect as we were right in between the parents and the brothers family. It’s sometimes hard to find places that accept pets so we greatly appreciate that! Comfortable and well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely be looking into staying again next time we are in town!

Quiet little getaway

Everything was nicely furnished. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We even enjoyed walking into town. The October weather was cool but was enjoyable.

Fantastic!

This is one of the cleanest and nicest places we’ve stayed at. The owners we’re great to deal with. We were greeted with wine, crackers and cheese when we arrived. We loved starting and ending our day on the front deck. Would definitely rent again.
