Unfortunately this guest was very dishonest in their review, which is very disappointing. Yes they did tell us about the thermostat reading 80 on second day there, however the truth is they weren't complaining that the house felt hot. Once they contacted us we immediately called out the AC company who did a thorough inspection. The technician reported that the air coming out of all vents was 57 degrees (we have the temperature gage photo from AC company however this site wont allow photos in response). The tech said the AC was performing normally and that the thermostat reading 80 was most likely due to its location near the sliding door that opens out to the pool, which was being opened frequently. Subsequently it was record temperatures in Florida and the tech said he was receiving record calls for the exact same thermostat issues. The filter did not require changing, nor did the coils need cleaning. If anything was required it would have been done as we strive to ensure all guests are well taken care of which is seems evident by all our 5 star reviews. The guests was shown the fan remote which had new batteries, however they were very distracted by their children who were running all around during the walk thru. The exterior tiki fans lights worked however the fan function would not come on, so our team member went directly to Walmart and bought 2 luxury fans to use to enjoy the tiki hut with plenty of air flow. Guests threatened us with bad review unless we refunded money
