What a great place! We had to deal with a little storm in the gulf that hampered our fishing, but we managed a few!The host was wonderful, and the house had everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay at the Island girl. House was lovely, the view was perfect and the wildlife was amazing. Older teens had a blast fishing off the pier and caught quite a fewCatfish, drums and crabs.

This property exceeded our expectations! All was exactly as pictured, and the hosts provided so many more amenities that you will usually have in a rental. We made use of the bait shrimp, crab traps, kayaks, beach towels, kitchen supplies, extra sunscreen, and watching free tv. We enjoyed reading the guestbook and the historical stories about Lake St. Catherine. But most of all we loved the peaceful setting. The property sits on a large lot which was great for our puppies to roam. The distance between the homes in the area gives a "country" feel. And the sunrises are beautiful!We will be back!Carmen and family

Amenities galore, complementary local treats, very clean, everything for cooking, beautiful locale, many outdoor activities, hammock swings, everything you need for fishing, kayaking, We even caught and ate a crab!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The house was beautifully furnished and very homey. Loved the dock and boathouse and sunrise on the water was just lovely. Would love to come for a longer stay.

A week in NOLA

We had a great time visiting New Orleans and surrounding areas and then able to be outside the city and relax when we were done. Loved being on the lake and watching the sun rise every morning.
