We had a great time at this lake house, great dock with beautiful views of sunsets. House is in nice condition and beds are great.We will come back here again when it’s warmer to try crabbing and fishing from the dock

We really enjoyed our stay. The pier was amazing especially at night with the light on. We caught so many fishes. We had a blast. The crabs were giant and we caught enough to have a crayfish/crab boiled. We definitely will be staying at this place again.

Great Stay

We had an amazing stay. The fishing off the dock was great! We caught plenty of legal size redfish and speckled trout along with flounder. We caught tons of blue crab. Host were very responsive and helpful. The house had everything we needed to accommodate myself and my family! We will definitely be back soon!

We could not have picked a better location for our stay in Louisiana. The house was lovely and included everything we needed during our vacation, including crab pots and fishing gear that we used on the impressive dock, which had great lighting for evening fishing and was perfect for day lounging. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had every appliance and tool we needed. We celebrated my birthday on this trip and also traveled to New Orleans and Bay Saint Louis, which are both only 30-40 minutes away. The location and amenities were perfect and any question or request we had of our just was immediately addressed. Highly recommend this property and host!

Crabbing Heaven

There were about 15 crab traps there, and we caught more than 35 crabs over the 3 days we stayed. There were also fishing poles that can be used and we caught 4 trouts just by leaving the poles over nights. Would love to stay there again if ever come back to New Orleans.

Amazing View!

Absolutely perfect place for our family. This home was comfortable and spacious for our family. The best part is the outside though. The pier leading out the back door goes as far as the eye can see. There are fishing poles and crab traps for your use. We used the fire pit every night. We highly recommend eating at Blue Crab. It’s just down the road. We simply loved our stay. Christina is a wonderful host that made the trip that much more enjoyable.

Perfect lakefront getaway

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lakefront rental. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the lake. It was something out of a postcard.One of the highlights of our trip was catching crabs right of the pier. It was so much fun and the rental had all the equipment needed The location is also perfect. It's close enough to New Orleans that we were able to enjoy all the city has to offer, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the best of both worlds.The house itself was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were friendly and provided great recommendations for local activities and restaurants.

We had the BEST time and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights on the lakefront! Easy drive over the old bridge into NOLA but we only drove in once (to watch the Saints game) because we were having such a good time relaxing and enjoying the view, and so much fun catching fish and crabs that we didn't want to leave! The host is friendly, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Check in was simple and although we couldn't take advantage of it, we were offered an early check in but we were asked to check out an hour earlier than advertised, which was still reasonable, 10am. The house was well appointed and was as pictured and described. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Remember all waterfront homes are raised, so expect to climb some stairs. There is a "ramped" access to the back of the house from the pier for those unable to climb stairs. The size and condition of the pier was amazing! Thankfully the weather cooperated so that we were able to spend most of our time outdoors, even "picniced' on the wooden bench set up on the pier. Guys were out til wee hours of the morning catching ALL kinds of fish at night with the lights. I wish we had put the traps out as soon as we arrivedl After only being in the water one night we caught 3 beautiful crabs too! I have family in Slidell who fish regularly - even they were impressed with the number and variety of fish we caught. Highly recommend staying on the northshore and enjoying LakeLife ! We are planning to return in the spring!

Could have been better

Cleanliness of inside home and dock was very cluttered and dirty. Clothes inside the washer and dirty bedding. Cockroaches inside the home. Had to buy a coffeemaker because parts of coffeemaker were missing. No instructions for TV and parental controls on TV limited viewing. No communication for anything regarding guidance on TV or trash pickup. Food was in the cabinet and fridge that you didn’t have room for own things. A lot of personal items through out home made it feel like we were invading the home instead of rental property. Made the stay feel uncomfortable and would not recommend.
