We enjoyed our days in the Hill Street House Upper Unit. It was cute and well stocked - we loved the red kitchen! The bed was super comfortable, and the area was very quiet. We easily visited Negaunee, Marquette, Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore from this home during the day, and relaxed at night. We’d recommend it!
We had a really nice stay in Ishpiming. The house was very accomodating except it was a little warm with the radiant heat. Other than that no complaints.
Clean. Mostly quiet. Could hear the tv a little from the downstairs unit ( but it’s a 100 year old property so not the most sound proof walls/floor) definitely would stay again though. Bed was great!.
Dropped our daughter off to NMU for her sophomore year and stayed the weekend to hang out.
Very clean and retro style was cool yet comfortable. Nice area outside to relax in the evening around the gas fireplace. Nice place to stay for 2 if your looking for something simple and inexpensive yet clean and cozy, close to some cool history of the area and not too far from Marquette.
I was up for 4 days riding RAMBA trail system. EVERYTHING was accessible without my truck leaving the house! It’s the perfect location to link up with anything with the range area mountain bike Association trails, Either directly or by using the heritage Trail that runs through the area, connecting Ishpeming and Negaunee.
Absolutely adorable little place! They have clearly put a lot of effort into making it cute, comfortable & welcoming. Perfect for a couple. Quiet and Extremely clean. Hosts are friendly easy to get in touch with. I can’t wait to go back!
Perfect spot to stay while visiting NMU. GPS isn't fibbing, keep following and you will arrive at the house at the top of the hill. Very clean, quiet and cheerfully decorated space. Comfortable bed, hot shower and coffee provided. Does have stairs that may difficult for someone with limited mobility
