About Allison Paquet

I have lived here in Marquette since 1987 and in this home since 1988...the remodel has been a labor of love, my children have all grown up here as well...I live in the apartment upstairs with my pets...

Allison Paquet purchased this apartment in 1988

Why Allison Paquet chose Marquette

I always had the plan to rent my home when my children were grown...this is a lovely city and the location of the home is just blocks away from all that goes on in the city.

Cozy home, perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our long weekend stay! We were able to walk to breweries, coffee shops, cafe’s, Ore docks easily from Allison’s home and drive to Marquette Mtn closeby which made it SO nice! Not to mention, the home was super cozy, clean and loved our Dead River coffee, thanks! We hope to come back sometime in the summer!

Very convenient and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This is our second stay at this house and we enjoy the location, the owner, and of course, Ozzie, a super great dog! We were prepared this year with some dark covering for the bedroom window, as the shade lets in too much light for us. The owner's son does a great keeping the sidewalks and driveway shoveled.

If only homesteading were an option . . .

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful month here. It's comfortably furnished, conveniently located to the downtown with its many amenities and has a better-appointed kitchen than our home.Among the attractions within walking distance are the amazing Peter White Library, a cross-section of restaurants and coffee shops, a local coffee roaster (Dead River), a local chocolate make (Davin), a historical museum (MRHC) and the food co-op (MFC) with its ready supply of local vegetables. Plus, owner Allison is knowledgeable and helpful, and Ozzie (the upstairs canine) is the perfect host.
