Fantastic property. Externally convenient if fishing out of Bings Landing. Just a few minutes to the Sterling Three Bears for groceries. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Great central location for going different places on the Kenia. Extra clean and set up perfect for a group of friends or a family. Lots of storage for gear and fish!
We had such a great time staying at Linda & Perry’s cabin! Their home is impeccably decorated and had a ton of amenities (fish freezer, fire pit, etc.) that made it a perfect place to enjoy an Alaskan summer. There was even a neighborhood fishing spot down the road that we could enjoy! We definitely recommending staying here and are looking forward to our next visit!
This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin was spotless with ALL the comforts of home. We didn't need to buy or ask for anything. It is located in a quiet, wooded area but covenient to other areas of interest on the Kenai peninsula. The owners go above and beyond to make your visit a pleasurable one. Definitely recommend staying at the Moose Crossing Lodge.
Hosts are friendly and accommodating. The property and amenities exceeded expectations.Kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were well stocked with essentials. The decor and furniture were top notch. Gas grill was ready to go and an outdoor fire pit with multiple chairs and a picnic table. Beautiful quiet outdoor Alaskan neighborhood. We did not want to leaveConvenient to the Reindeer Hut which has excellent food , ice cream and beverages. Also close to Three Bears for food and supplies.
Moose crossing lodge was everything we hoped for and more. Perry and Linda thought of every detail and were such gracious hosts. There is a public access beach to the Kenai River within waking distance and a public boat launch just down the street. The new Three Bears Grocery less than 2 miles away made coming out own meals convenient. We would recommend this vacation rental to others without hesitation.
Linda and Perry were very gracious hostS and they have a beautiful cabin that is well equipped with the comforts of home! Very clean and the beds are great! The fishing was outstanding and very close to the cabin! The best part of our stay was their adorable dog Luna! I miss her already!
Thanks again!!
Just an absolutely wonderfully redone home and even better hosts! Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. Perry and Linda met us on arrival, gave us a tour of the home, and were available throughout our stay to answer any and all questions about the local area. They were so friendly and even gave our three small children a tour of the garden as we packed up. We will be return guests for sure!
We had a great time! Property was spotless clean. Full kitchen with all utensils was a great plus that we used every day. Huge shower with awesome water pressure. Hosts gifted homemade sourdough bread and raspberry preserves, which didn't last long. All in all, can't say a single negative about the Property. Already planning for a stay next year!
Awesome place for exploring and fishing the Kenai! The cabin was very well equipped and it worked out perfect for our group of four fishermen. The fish freezer is large enough to humble the average team (filled less than half of it with 240 lbs of fish) and the lockable outdoor storage area for wet waders/gear was fantastic each night. Perry was a super host! Thank you for everything and we wish you and your family the absolute best!
We had a great time staying at the Moose Crossing Lodge. It was perfect for our family and located in a great spot for enjoying the Kenai Peninsula. The cabin is new and clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. We enjoyed playing corn hole, making a fire, and riding bikes around the property. It was easy to explore Seward and Homer, hike trails at Cooper Landing, and fish on the Kenai River. Soldotna is close for supplies and groceries, but the cabin provides a quiet and secluded location. Perry and Linda were great hosts and available for anything we needed. We highly recommend!
First thing I must say is that Perry & Linda the owners have put together a perfect place to stay while in Alaska. The cabin was clean & comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for.
After arriving at the cabin that evening, Perry and Linda presented us with a loaf of home made bread, still warm, and some home made jelly, both were out of this world!!!
Perry provides an outside storage area that accommodates fishing guess well. Our overall experience was Outstanding.
Would definitely stay again!
Thank You Perry & Linda….
This is a new and beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Perry and Linda are wonderful hosts and their neighbors are friendly and a joy to talk with as well. Linda surprised us with a loaf of fresh baked bread and some homemade jam, delicious! The cabin is small but perfect for 4-5 people. We took full advantage of the beautiful weather and utilized the charcoal grill for outdoor dinners and drinks by the firepit to winddown each night. The cabin is super clean and has almost everything you might need. Washer and dryer are not included but the laundromat is right down the street if you have a longer stay and need to do laundry. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything Perry and Linda!
Perry and Linda are wonderful hosts! They thought of every detail for comfort and convenience. We were greeted with warm bread and homemade jam which was such a treat! The cabin is well equipped for cooking. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed the large shower with on demand hot water! The extra shed with storage for fishing equipment and the giant freezer was greatly appreciated as well! The location of the cabin was also perfect. It has the country feel but close to town and popular fishing spots. Perry and Linda gave us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. Overall, a wonderful place to stay! Thank you Perry and Linda for your thoughtfulness and generosity! You are wonderful hosts! We hope to visit Alaska again soon!
We just landed and I wanted to briefly capture the trip for those looking at properties and give a review.
First off, five stars all day long on the owners/managers. There were great special touches they did throughout our trip… homemade bread after we got settled in… which was delicious and a treat for us, fresh sockeye… since we having some troubles landing one lol, advice on anything… from fishing locations, places to get your laundry done etc. They live on the property, but are not intrusive in any way. As far as the cabin goes, it’s new and very well decorated, well stocked with cookware, there’s a charcoal fire place, an outdoor fire pit, a great kitchen. It was all around a great place and experience. For the price and the experience, location etc… this will be a place we return to. Tim
