About this property

MoonLight Treehouse | Hot Tub · Lakefront Retreat

Summary:

Welcome to your dream treehouse escape—tucked among the pines with stunning lake views, a private hot tub, and direct access to Belgrade Stream. MoonLight Treehouse was thoughtfully designed for couples, honeymooners, and small families looking for a peaceful yet luxurious retreat in nature. Spend your evenings stargazing from the hot tub, relaxing by the fireplace, and sipping coffee on your private deck as the morning light filters through the trees. This one-of-a-kind getaway blends handcrafted beauty with elevated comfort for an unforgettable lakeside stay.

The Space:

MoonLight Treehouse is part of a peaceful lakeside property that also includes its sister treehouse, SkyView (located side-by-side), Sunset Chalet, and our main home — all nestled along the quiet shoreline of Belgrade Stream. Each space is fully private, with its own private entrance, hot tub, fire pit, and seating area. Lake access is shared via two docks, offering just the right mix of privacy and connection — especially for couples or families booking both treehouses together.

MoonLight Treehouse is a handcrafted luxury retreat perched above Belgrade Stream with peaceful lake views and a cozy, elevated vibe. Every detail—from the natural wood finishes to the live-edge countertops and copper range hood—was chosen by our family to create a space that’s as beautiful as it is relaxing.

Step inside to an open-concept living space featuring a king-size bed, a plush convertible sofa, and a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace with a mounted Smart TV. The space is bathed in natural light from the massive picture windows and double glass doors that lead to the deck and hot tub.

The full kitchen is a true highlight: rustic yet refined, with a deep farmhouse sink, high-end gas range, microwave, coffee station, and custom wood countertops. A spacious island with bar seating and a separate dining table provide plenty of space to gather and enjoy meals.

Climb the spiral staircase to the loft, where a second queen-size bed awaits—set beneath a vaulted ceiling and a wall of windows that frame the surrounding trees. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, or stargaze from the treetops.

The bathroom is uniquely charming, with a floor-to-ceiling stone shower, glass door, and a real pine tree growing inside—guests always rave about it.

Outside, your private deck features a bubbling hot tub, gas grill, and dining area. The space is equipped with both A/C and heat, fast Wi-Fi, and Amazon Alexa for your convenience.

Whether you’re here to unwind by the fire, enjoy a lakeside summer, or watch the snowfall in winter, MoonLight Treehouse is a year-round escape like no other.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to their own private hot tub, deck, grill, and fire pit. The outdoor space is open and shared, and you’re welcome to enjoy direct access to Belgrade Stream and Messalonskee Lake, along with the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, sandy lake entry, boat dock, swimming, and fishing throughout your stay.

The Neighborhood:

MoonLight Treehouse is tucked away in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes Region, just minutes from charming Belgrade Lakes Village. Nestled between Great Pond and Long Pond, this walkable village is filled with small-town character — think seasonal farmers’ markets, a cozy café, an old-fashioned ice cream stand, and local shops that come alive in the summer. It’s the perfect place to stroll by the water, grab a bite, or pick up something special from a local artisan.

Just 15 minutes away, you’ll find Augusta, Maine’s capital city. Downtown Augusta offers riverfront dining, breweries, boutique shops, historic buildings, and a peaceful walking path along the Kennebec River.

About 25 minutes from the treehouse is the picturesque town of Hallowell — a hidden gem with a creative, riverside vibe. Known for its antique stores, art galleries, live music, and excellent restaurants, Hallowell is a favorite among locals for its charm and character.

For golf lovers, Belgrade Lakes Golf Club is only a few minutes from your door — consistently ranked among the top 100 public golf courses in the country. With breathtaking views and an unforgettable layout, it’s a must for anyone looking to hit the links during their stay.

Whether you’re exploring local towns or simply soaking up the beauty of the lakes and forests, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Central Maine.

Welcome to Moonlight Treehouse! I’m Feras, originally from Damascus, Syria, and now calling Maine home. I started Belgrade Hospitality to share the unique experience of lakeside living with guests from around the world. The Moonlight Treehouse is one of my most enchanting properties, nestled in the trees with stunning views that capture the magic of Maine’s natural beauty. When I’m not hosting, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and spending time with my family. I’m excited to have you here and hope you enjoy the peaceful retreat of the Moonlight Treehouse as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

The Belgrade Lakes area is one of Maine’s most beloved regions, and for good reason. We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we wanted to offer in a lakeside retreat: true peace, timeless natural beauty, and direct access to some of the state’s most scenic and sought-after lakes — including Great Pond, Belgrade Stream, and Messalonskee Lake.

Our properties here sit right on the water — not nearby, not across the street — directly on the shoreline, with sweeping lake views, private docks, and immediate access to swimming, paddling, or just enjoying the quiet from a deck or hammock. There’s a sense of stillness in Belgrade you can’t describe until you experience it. The water is calm, wildlife is everywhere — from loons and herons to deer and the occasional eagle — and the sunsets are unforgettable.

We also love that this area offers a perfect balance: you’re surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive from great restaurants, local shops, farmer’s markets, and trails. The Belgrade Lakes village is charming and authentic, with a strong community feel and a slower pace that makes everything feel more personal.

We chose this neighborhood because it allows guests to truly unplug, recharge, and feel like they’re part of something special — not just on vacation, but immersed in the quiet, natural rhythm of Maine lake life.

What makes this property unique
