Villa Ivrea is located at the northern tip of Cap Estate and boasts spectacular views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Designed by the American architect Dan F. Sater II and built in 2009 by Wayne Brown D/B, it offers all the amenities required by discerning travelers, beginning with luxuriously appointed bedrooms and social areas, together with outdoor features like an infinity pool, panoramic verandas, pergola and terraced gardens. All four bedrooms in the Main House enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea or both. A large panoramic deck invites guests to enjoy the sun just outside their room, while an enchanting downstairs veranda provides the ideal setting for deep relaxation, outdoor dining or simply staying close to the pool and witnessing some truly unforgettable Caribbean sunsets.
Cottage: In addition to the Main House, Villa Ivrea offers a fully independent, one-bedroom Cottage that includes a full kitchen with nook, bathroom, living room, central air conditioning, laundry station and a veranda with a splash pool. It enjoys expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean and it is surrounded by an English lawn and a citrus orchard. The Cottage is quoted when the traveling party is over 8 people ($125 per night mid and low season with rental of the villa, and $250 per night high season with rental of the villa).
Gardens: The terraced gardens host an eclectic mix of Mediterranean plants, including olive trees, lemon trees, figs, date palms, bay laurel, jasmine, oleander and cypresses, complemented by tropical and native varieties of bird of paradise, cannas, bougainvilleas, ginger lilies, sago palms, mango trees and more. Most of the water used for the irrigation of the gardens comes from rain-water harvesting.
Nearby Activities and Services: The renowned St. Lucia Golf & Country Club is just a 5-min drive away, while a 15-min drive will put you in the heart of Rodney Bay with all its different attractions, including excellent restaurants, a world-class marina, shopping malls, pharmacies, post office, banks, etc.
Some restaurants we recommend: Spinnakers (Sunset Bar and Food on the beach), Memories of Hong Kong (Best Chinese in the Windward Islands), Elena's (Pizza like you are in Italy), Razmataz (Indian) and Big Chef (Steaks and Wine).
But all this is just the beginning, as the rest of this beautiful island awaits being explored by those interested in snorkeling, hiking, bird watching, scuba diving, sightseeing, mountain biking, deep-sea fishing, sailing and more.

When our friend told us that she had chosen Saint Lucia as the ideal place to build her retirement home, after a nearly four-year search throughout the Caribbean, we had to come and see it for ourselves. From the very first moment we were captivated by the beauty, cleanliness and tranquility of the island, but what won our hearts were the people and their special attitude towards foreigners, unlike anything else we had seen during our multiple trips to other islands in the Caribbean. It was then that we decided to purchase a piece of land, build our dream home and make this emerald paradise a part of our lives. We believe Saint Lucia is gorgeous, but do not take our word for it: come and see for yourselves. You may not end up buying land and deciding to stay, but you will certainly get hooked on it forever.

The elegant LeSport Spa & Beach Club is also close by and they are well known for their rejuvenating one-day spa treatments. The most amazing views and the service to match!!!
The owner and staff are amazing!!! The views were breathtaking. It was close to the store and beaches only a 10 minute drive. Bertha really took care of us. Claudette answered any question we had and went above and beyond. We rent a lot of properties and the service here blew us away. My two year old daughter is still asking for Bertha lol. We will return to this property
Fantastic place with unforgettable views
Our family enjoyed staying at Villa Ivrea very much. Bertha and Claudette were great, making sure we had everything we needed. The house has all upscale comforts and the views are simply outstanding (plus we had a full moon the last 2 days). It is located in a great neighborhood, close to all major attractions in the North. We highly recommend this villa to families!!
Amazing villa with Stunning Ocean Views
Our family just returned from our July 2017 vacation stay at this amazing villa. Upon arrival we were greeted by Claudette, with essential food items and rum punch already stocked in the fridge! Villa Ivrea (which truly is an estate) is located in exclusive Cap Estates on the north end of the island and literally sits on the mountain side with ocean views that can not be described or captured with a picture or words. The villa is beautifully appointed throughout, with all of the amenities, very spacious and comfortable. Not to mention the amazing infinity pool -- which we took full advantage in the afternoons. I also need to mention Bertha the friendly maid, whom provided cleaning service M-Sat. We have visited many islands in the Caribbean over the years, and by far this villa was the most luxurious and nicest of rental properties! The Rodney Bay area is within a 10 minute drive, and met all of our needs for restaurant choices, grocery stores, and novelty shops. We also found a picturesque beach & cove which turned out to be a great snorkel spot within a 10 minute drive (same beach as The Naked Fisherman restaurant). Our family couldn't have enjoyed more our week in St. Lucia! The Villa Ivrea was extremely comfortable. The continual island breeze through the house was luscious. Bertha, the housekeeper, was a real help. We were connected with a driver Junior Auguste; he became a true friend and invaluable connection for our day excursions.
We fit in as much adventure as we could in 7 days - boating, snorkeling, mud baths, rain forest hikes, horseback riding, zip-lining, fishing, dining in, dining out.

Beautiful Villa! May 2017
We were a small party of 5 and we really enjoyed the Villa. The house manager, Ms. Claudette greeted us upon arrival and returned just before our departure to see us off. Ms. Bertha, the housekeeper, cooked breakfast for us each morning and was very pleasant and so quiet we hardly knew she was there. The Villa is beautiful and very well kept, not a cobweb or bit of dust or bugs anywhere. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, this place is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the views are magnificent. The one thing I would note, is hire a driver for your stay or rent a car as nothing is within walking distance and the Villa is located at the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the Villa so much that our first day there we didn't leave, spent the whole day by the pool! We can't wait to return!

It enjoys expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean and it is surrounded by an English lawn and a citrus orchard. This recently-built estate is only five minutes away from the St. Lucia Golf & Country Club and its fantastic 18-hole course, set within the scenic rolling hills of Cap Estate.
Golf: The Saint Lucia Golf & Country Club (18 holes), located inside Cap Estate, is only 4 minutes away by car. Their rate for a round of golf (including the cart) is US$145 during High Season and players can tee off as early as 6h45. If you would like to know more about a preferred pricing agreement, please give us the exact dates you have in mind, as well as the number of people in your party. Unfortunately, the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course next to Villa Ivrea will not be finished before Fall 2018, but we are sure that once you see it you will want to come back as soon as they open. A great alternative is the La Toc golf course (9 holes), located 30 minutes south from Villa Ivrea --La Toc is the oldest golf course on the island. It is rather hilly, but the expansive views of the Castries Harbor and the Caribbean Sea make it really worth the trip. Their rate is US$60/round and they have no carts.
Other Activities: About 45 minutes by car, going south towards Soufriere, you will find the Tet Paul Nature Trail, which is nestled on six acres of lush, verdant land in the farming community of Chateau Belair. The trail is located in the Piton Management Area, Saint Lucia’s World Heritage Site. Hiking the trail is like soaring heavenward on a beautiful, natural staircase. The hike is rated easy to moderate and is roughly 45 minutes long. The trail boasts some of the most spectacular views of the South of the island, the Jalousie Bay, Petit Piton and Gros Piton as well as Martinique and St. Vincent on clear days.
