All the noise and stress floats away when you arrive at the Bamboo Bayou. A two unit building is perfectly situated on one acre covered in beautiful bamboo and stately oak trees. There is a sweet little pond teaming with fish, for a fun catch and release experience. The top unit is a two bedroom two bathroom open concept with a separate office and private laundry room. The unit has tile floors throughout with granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. You will find all the comforts of home when you come to stay...WIFI, comfy bedding, clean spaces, pots and pans if you feel like cooking you only need to bring your suitcase and toothbrush. You will feel like you are in a treehouse with all the lush vegetation and gardens. Don't forget your swimsuit as there is a hot tub on the property along with a fire pit and chairs to sit under the stars.

Bamboo Bayou

Enjoyed staying at the Bamboo Bayou. It was just 10 minutes away from the Professional Development Center off MLK Blvd and close to I75. Bedrooms and living areas very nice. Hot tub great! The access road is a bit rough. Rate might be a bit high. Would consider returning.

What a nice, comfortable, clean place to stay. It was conveniently located for the places we wanted to go and see! I would enjoy staying there again and relax at the house…so much to enjoy right there!! We were a tad bit nervous as we drove in on the gravel driveway but it was hidden away and a quiet!

A friend recommended this home for my family of four. It turned out to be a wonderful decision- initial inquiry, booking, and communication throughout we're great. The host was responsive and was able to grant a last-minute request. The house is as pictured, and even better in person. We enjoyed all the personal touches. Highly recommend a stay here. Wonderful experience

Our family of 4 stayed here, we explored up and down the coast so being close to I-75 worked well for us. The neighborhood was safe. Only 5-7 miles to a Publix grocery store. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, all the appliances worked. The living room furniture was comfortable for movie watching. We would stay here again.

Florida fun

My husband and I enjoyed several evenings at this secluded property. The interior was nicely decorated and comfortable. Two decent baths, Queen bedroom suite and second bedroom with bunk beds (limited head space).We appreciated the bamboo trees around the property, and the fishing in the little pond located nearby. Very quiet and dark at night. Located close to a BBQ place and proximate to many other activities in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area.

Full of first times!

The house was perfect! The welcome basket was a great surprise after a day of traveling! Very thoughtful. Be forewarned for anyone staying close to Feb 22 date…..there is a Cardinal bird who likes side mirrors in the morning. Solved it with 2 Walmart bags while parked. ;)

Bamboo bayou

Overall a nice place but we found it a little too isolated. A lot of driving for us who love the beach. Kitchener could use more utensils ie: toaster, working coffee maker blender. Perhaps beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels.

Why they chose this property

It is simply peaceful and perfect! Only 5 minutes to the interstate and 35 minutes to the beach. 15 minutes to downtown Fort Myers...but I doubt you will want to leave.

What makes this property unique

One acre property covered in lush vegetation with a fire pit and hot tub. Small pond packed with fish and fishing poles available.
