During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques (tons of vintage shops). Midtown has historic buildings like the Thomas Hart Benton Home, with tours of the painter’s studio and gardens. Trails wind through nearby Roanoke Park, encircled by bluffs. The home is on the East side of Midtown close to Hyde Park, Squire Park, and Manheim Park. All 3 are historic neighborhoods in Midtown, Kansas City. It is a primarily residential neighborhood with businesses along Troost Avenue.
