About this property

The Farmhouse at 1885: Where Past Meets Present

Welcome to “The Farmhouse”

Nestled in the heart of 1885 Farms, this meticulously restored 1877 farmhouse invites you to experience the perfect harmony of vintage charm and modern luxury. From the moment you arrive, the wrap-around porch offers a warm embrace, with tranquil farm views ideal for savoring your morning coffee or witnessing breathtaking sunsets.

Step inside and discover a home designed for togetherness and comfort. The expansive dining-kitchen area features stainless-steel appliances, a sprawling central island, a breakfast bar, and a grand farmhouse table—perfect for gathering with loved ones to share meals and memories. A conveniently located guest bathroom adds to the ease of your stay.

Beyond the kitchen, the inviting living room welcomes you with large windows and double glass doors, flooding the space with natural light. The original farmhouse features are beautifully preserved, offering a cozy ambiance that celebrates the home’s historic allure.

Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms provide serene retreats, each outfitted with a luxurious king bed. A shared full bathroom with a stand-up shower is easily accessible from the hallway, while the master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom with a relaxing shower/tub combination.

With over 1,840 sq ft of thoughtfully designed living space, “The Farmhouse” provides ample room for your group to unwind, connect, and create cherished memories. Outside, a picturesque 2-acre fishing pond beckons. Teeming with bass, bluegill, crappie, and sunfish, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature.

Rich in history, this home was once the cherished homestead of the Foltz family, the talented builders of the iconic octagonal barn known as “The Barn at 1885 Farms.” During your stay, inquire about the opportunity to explore this architectural treasure and immerse yourself in the story of this remarkable property.

Pond Access & Courtesy: The fishing pond, located behind the farmhouse, is shared with another rental home. Follow the wooded path behind the house to reach the pond, located to your left as you exit the woods.
