Lakeview Getaway is across the street from Lake Barkley. You will have the house to yourself. 3 bedrooms, two queens, 1-full, 2-twins sleeps 8. Enjoy the comfortable décor with warm antique touches. Digital nomads will love the work space.The fenced back yard is perfect for furry family. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch with views of the lake.
Then set out and explore the antique shops in historic Cadiz with year-round events. Go to the Planetarium or Bison Prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen with double oven….and a grill in the fenced back yard.
Entertainment for your whole family year round! Ask about the Kayaks.
John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky
& a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts.
We love creating special places for our guests.
We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. We fill all three of our homes with "one of a kind" items. This house was perfect. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, it have just like being at home. It has a well stocked kitchen, many games and things to entertain children, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. It has everything we needed for an almost weeklong stay. John and Julie even provided dog beds for our doggies. It was very dog friendly without any signs of being a dog friendly place (if that makes sense!). The fenced backyard, grill and table & chairs made the outdoor space a good one. Our kids loved it (super family friendly), our dogs loved it (pet friendly) and we loved it! Would highly recommend- it exceeded our expectations for the property listing.

Nice stay

It's a very cozy little house nestled up on a quiet part of the lake. The house is clean, well kept, and the owners are very responsive and make sure that you have everything that you need for your stay. Location is great to explore LBL and had a small community lake access nearby that was perfect for getting a kayak in the water.

Visit for MSU Graduation

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully decorated, super clean, and in a lovely location by the Lake. We needed a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house to accommodate our family, and this was the perfect place! We hope to visit again soon!

This property provided a great base for exploring the area. It is even better than the pictures. It is roomy and comfortable and the hosts provided many little extras.

Hunting Trip

Me and my wife had a great stay. The house was clean and very pet friendly. The views were beautiful and the fenced in back yard was great to let my dogs stretch their legs. Very close to the lake, highly recommend.

In town for Family Graduation/Retirement Gathering

My husband and my parents were in town for a combined High School Graduation and Army retirement party. It was a cute home, easy to get to, and close to the lake. Hosts were great to work with. We had no issues. We would definitely stay there again.

Family event

The property was very nice and clean with all accommodations in a quiet and cute neighborhood. It was close to the lake and 13 minutes to Cadiz. I would recommend this property. The property owners were very nice, helpful and hospitable.
