East Pass Towers is a beautiful studio condo in Destin. This studio/ 1 bath comfortably sleeps 4 with its King bed and queen size sleeper sofa setup. Enjoy views from this unit's private balcony or take advantage of the nearby amenities such as Norriego Point which offers a wonderful beach setup location with an area for swimming or you can walk a little way to the O'Steen Beach access where you can meander all the way to the Jettys for some of the most spectacular turquoise water you'll find.
One of the other really cool things about this condo is you can walk out the back of the building over to the Harbor (about 50 ft) and you can hop on the Destin Water Taxi and have them take you across the Harbor to any restaurant or destination you desire. This makes having a long day by the pool or on the beach so much fun and much more responsible knowing you don't have to drive anywhere for lunch or dinner! We absolutely love doing this and hitting up our favorite restaurants like Boshamps, Harbor Docks, Marina Cafe, Lousiana Lagniappe, AJ's, Boat House, Tailfins, Dewey Destin's and so many other cool spots along the water front of the Harbor.

Wonderful unit and views

Great family get a way
The space was perfect for our family of three. The beach and pool access made it easy to enjoy our time away. The white couch area rug could probably use a cleaning (white is harder
To hide the dirt). Overall we loved our time in Destin.

Okay place
This studio is beautiful and newly renovated but super small. Even just 2 kids and 2 adults and we were crowded. The floors, air vent, and rugs were super dirty. The white couch was all stained up. Our feet stayed black the whole time in the room. The view is misleading from the pics… there’s barely a view from the balcony. The property is a super nice location and place to stay.. we love East Pass Towers but it was a little disappointing in this unit. For the price we paid for the week I expected more.

Great Communication
The owner of the condo was very quick to respond and very helpful. I am very appreciative to the owner in being fair. The building's air condition was out, and offered a refund for the nights the air condition was out. I loved the first floor location, and how close to the pool and the gym it was. The front loader washing machine seal might need to be replaced though, as front loaders tend to get moldy if not left open. Owner's responsiveness was excellent so for that I would give it another chance. There is construction near the building for the next 3 years. Between the building and Norreigo Point.

Loved location but needs some work...
Lamps fithy, air filter cover fithy, not cleaned in long time. Electrical kitchen outlets short circuit or something. Keep kicking brakes, lights on outlet on & off. Used nightstand outlet. Elevator out for 2 days, never did get code to work. Would be nice to let guest know you have a Keurig coffee maker, we brought extra filters & coffee, had to run out & purches k-kups. Toaster & fry pans should be tossed out. Mattress cover that fits would be nice, pops off when you hop into bed. It is a really nice place, lots of towels, W/D great, veiw awesome, just needs a little fixing.

Bug issue/Lack of Customer Service
Had to be moved.Unit was accurate to description, lovely unit! Couldn't easily locate unit due to no unit# marked on the door. Couldn't reach management because we arrived on a Saturday evening and they were closed.
We loved the unit and location but immediately had issues with roaches. The first night, we found a small dead roach on the pillow on yhe bed and as soon as we turned the lights off to go to bed, we could see the roaches in the kitchen area, when we turned the lights on, they ran; ended up having to sleep with all the lights on to keep them from wandering. We had dead roach in the fridge Sunday morning. On Monday called ECVR at opening 9am and made them aware of the issue and was informed they would have the issue addressed. 8 hours later at 450pm before they closed i had to call for an update and be told they haven't heard back from the HOA. This unit is next to their office so we went and spoke to the man representing the HOA and made him aware of our roach issue. He was aware of the palmetto big issue the entire building was having and had the bug man coming Thursday to spray our unit. This is Monday evening and not only did the HOA expect us to just deal with this issue but so did ECVR. This man was defensive in reiterating that they were not roaches but did clearly state "they are equally disgusting." Even went to explain how these are the oldest buildings on Holiday Isle.. anyways.. so another night dealing with roaches. Requested calls from Josh, property

February Getaway
I have stayed in several properties in Holiday Isle and overall our stay was really good. For anyone that is wondering if this studio is not big enough, this one is plenty big for two. We were very comfortable. There were lots of towels, everything was clean and we had plenty of space. Also it was very nicely decorated. I really commend the owners on the use of space. The only downside, this place really needs some additional kitchen items. Since there is a full size kitchen and we really wanted to cook more. Eating out in Destin gets really expensive. We had to buy a pot so we could cook. Also a full size coffee maker would have been nice, there is plenty of room for one. It was a shame to have a nice, big kitchen and not really be able to fully use it. A simple update of the kitchen items (pots & pans, utensils, silverware, ice trays & etc.) would easily make this a five star rating. This is really the only reason I am giving this one 4 stars. With those simple changes, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.
