Host was friendly and helpful.The apt. Was very clean and dust free, with lots of amenities and hot water.The tv was rather small and not a tv but rather a Computer monitor. Very fast internet connection.The place was a bit on the small side, perfect for a couple but might put a strain on a couple with children.Would we stay there again, yes.

Great location!

Enjoyed this apartment and the neighborhood. Close to the Seine River and a good variety of restaurants close by. Good amount of space just enough kitchenware to prepare some of our meals. We would stay again!

Terrific location and would be ideal for 2-3 guests

Ideal location: close to two amazing Museums, bus, metro, cafe, restos, bakery and supermarket. Would be 5 stars but for some minor issues with the unit, including dishes that were dirty, and no oven which was an oversight on our part.

Fantastic location

Clean, quiet, and with an absolutely fabulous location. Although it was tight for a family with older kids, we would stay in this apartment again.

Atmospheric Apartment in Fantastic Location

Loved the cosy, older style atmosphere of this apartment. With a separate bedroom and pull-out couch (very comfortable!) it's great for two friends to have their own space. The kitchen is very well equipped with induction cooker, microwave and dishwasher. It was great to have a washing machine too! The location was literally round the corner from Musee d'Orsay and some fab restaurants plus a terrific Monoprix 100 metres away in Rue Bac. It was perfect for our week long stay.

Great location.

Wonderful location--close to many fine restaurants & coffee shops. Check in was easy as was check out. We left some medicine in the refrigerator and Georges was kind enough to send it on to us. Three of us were comfortable there.

June 2024 stay in Paris

Very clean. Compact apartment in the best location. Walking distance to le Louve, Orangerie, D'Orsey, St Chapelle, Norta Dame, pantheon and more. Great bakery on the coner with breakfast items.

the location is brilliant in a beautiful old building The apartment was not. Firstly we had to wait 30mins (in the cold) waiting for georges to arrive. We told him what time we would be arriving and phoned when we were 10 minutes away. There was no soap in the bathroom, the window in the bedroom was broken and stuck together with tape - the glassware were old and mismatched and no wine glasses. All drawers in the bedroom were filled with owners belongings so we couldnt use them. the curtains looked like old sheets - there were only 2 pillows for the bedroom. The TV was basically a tiny computer screen - not even a smart tv! The lock on the front door was very tricky to open - but like i said the location was absolutely perfect

Great location

The apartment is in perfect location for everyone who is interested in visiting the most famous places in Paris. It’s just few minutes from the river Seine, Louvre or Musee D’Orsay. The Notre Dame cathedral and the Luxembourg garden are also walking distance from the apartment. There is a Metro station nearby which is on the line for the Eiffel Tower and Versailles or the Opera Garnier. This is a quiet apartment situated in a safe building on the first floor looking to a small courtyard. There are numerous small restaurants and cafes next to it as well as supermarket close by. Overall it is a perfect place to stay in Paris for everyone who is looking for a reasonable accommodation with excellent location.

Week in Paris

My two daughters (18 and 21) stayed here L for a week in May. The location of the property was excellent. It was walking distance to many attractions and close to several metro stations. The apartment was very quiet, we could not hear any noise from the street at all. The fold out bed was very comfortable. There is a supermarket about 2 blocks away as well as a bakery/coffee shop a few doors down so it was easy to grab food to eat at the apartment. We had a great week in Paris.

Great Location

We had a pretty good stay. The apartment is very close to all the major attractions: the Louvre, Tuilleries, Musee D’Orsay…all within walking distance. Bakeries, bank, restaurants, and grocery store are all within the block. The biggest issue we had was the apartment does need updating, especially with a working washer/dryer and fresh linens. We stayed a week and needed to do laundry, especially traveling with children. The washer did not work at all. In fact, it left our clothes stained and soaking wet even after “drying”. There was an issue with the toilet, but the owner sent a plumber ASAP. Would I stay here again? I would if there was a working washer/dryer. Cant beat the location.

Excellent apartment. Great Location

A lovely apartment close to Musee D’Orsay and just across the river from the Louvre. Boulangerie and supermarket are nearby. All the shops and restaurants on Boulevard Saint-Germain are easy walking distance. The apartment was clean and comfortable. the bedroom is very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Georges met us on arrival and explained everything and helped us get settled.We loved our stay here and would definitely come again.

We loved our stay in this little neighborhood that is close enough to walk to everything we wanted to do, but didn't seem to be completely touristy. Georges was so helpful in letting us check in a little early, and the apartment was perfect for us. We had everything we needed here. We travel to France fairly frequently, but this was the first time we had spent any significant time in Paris in a number of years. We would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise. Merci bien, et a la prochaine!

Great apartment - Great location

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our week stay in Paris. It is centrally located, only two blocks from the Louvre and the Musee D’Orsay. It is easy to get to the Metro (Rue du Bac station) to go anywhere in Paris and easy to walk to many things close by. There is a great bistro across the street and a Monoprix 3 blocks away. The apt is very roomy for Paris standards and it is only up one flight of steps. The apt is actually set back from the street, so it is very quiet. If you want to live like a Parisian for a week, this is a great place to do it!

Excellent location

Stayed 3 weeks late Sept-early Oct. EXCELLENT location – couple blocks to the Seine, Orsay and Louvre museums, minutes to Metro and bus. Boulangerie, groceries, pharmacy, bank, cafés right on your street. Apartment combines traditional French with modern updates in kitchen and bathroom. Very clean with overall good amenities: dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, W/D (dryer inefficient), TV (issue w/reception – had to frequently reboot router.). Appreciated having a shower (small 32 “x 26 “) rather than a tub. No street noise since it is in rear courtyard (occasionally hear neighbors) Despite exceptionally warm temps – high 70’s, low 80’s- with tile floors plus 2 fans provided, apt. was quite comfortable. All in all, a great base from which to explore Paris!

Great location, cute apartment, horrible experience with property manager

The apartment is cute but needs a bit of work, the location is amazing. However it was a nightmare dealing with the property manager. He told me to email him an hour before our estimated arrival and he would meet us there but there was no one there. We waited for 10-15 and emailed again and left a voicemail. Still nothing. We had to call VRBO who tracked the owner down who then said the manager was in the apartment and he would meet us shortly. 20 min later still no one. When he finally showed up he asked that we hand him 60 euros cash because he said we provided him false information. When we refused he just left us there. We had to run after him in the street. Luckily we had all the emails and were on the phone with VRBO at that moment so he let us in eventually but just he threw the keys and didn’t provide any info (eg code for the front door, check out instructions, etc). It really soured what would have been an otherwise pleasant stay.

Location, location, location

Such a great location! I’m an active 75 year old grandmother traveling with my 17 year old granddaughter. We felt very safe in this area and this apartment! Both beds were very comfortable! One is a double and the other a pullout sofa bed- still comfortable. Apartment is is up a small flight of stairs, but there is an elevator if needed. The apartment is not on the main road so you don’t hear road and restaurant noise, however it is in a type of a courtyard type setting so you do hear the neighbors. Also if you open you windows and a neighbor smokes it will reach your rooms! That said there are fans that worked quite well and it was hit in Paris the last few days we were there. The washer/dryer is a little tricky, but so nice to have. My only complaint was the wifi in the bedroom is very weak and if you shut the door you basically lose all wifi- just a little hiccup as I was planning and booking stuff night and I was in the bedroom. Georges was excellent about communicating and got right to us when we called. But again you cannot go wrong with this location! Loved it!
