The cabin is roomy with a nice kitchen, living room, TV room, and a game area to hang out. There is plenty of parking and wonderful outdoor space. It has a great front porch for morning and evening reading. I would definitely stay here again.
This place is cozy feeling, but plenty of space for everyone to be doing different activities. It’s in a great location, in wooded area with deer and other wildlife. But it’s not too far for going out and enjoying Johnson City! Julie was easy to communicate with, quick response's. We really enjoyed this place and would be back again!
Property was clean and the host very responsive to questions. A casserole dish would be a good addition to the kitchen cookware but otherwise every need was met. A great property for family gatherings.
My best friend and I take a joint-family trip every year. We had kids, pets and grandma staying with us this year and this cabin accommodated all of our needs. It was easy to navigate to town when needed, provided plenty of privacy between each other within the cabin and there was lots of nature to be enjoyed. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, deer in the yard every morning, and a beautiful view of the night sky during a meteor shower. If we make our way up to Unicoi again, we hope we are able to snag this place again before it gets booked.
My wife and I loved it! It's a layout we would love to have in the mountains. Secluded and quite. Well, except for the bard owls hootin and a few deer huffing and blowing. LOVED IT!
This property is better than advertised. The owner responds quickly and is easy to work with. The kitchen is nicely stocked, comfortable beds, hot water, and a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here and will return in the future.
Only issue we had was there was a mix up with the cleaning people when we got there. Julie took care of it immediately and did everything she could for the situation and no hick ups after that. Nice stay! Accommodations were perfect for us! Great location
Amazing property that words don’t describe. Close to anything you want in the area but feel like you are in your own private mountain when at the lodge. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and will 100% stay again when we return.

Thanks for the awesome feedback, Dave. You were wonderful guest, and we hope to see you again soon!
Overall it was a nice stay. We had fun watching the deer and exploring the area. The only disappointment was that there was no playset in the yard. Our daughter and grandchildren
came up for one night and that would have been appreciated it.
We were three couples coming to the Johnson City area to fish. This house was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for vehicles and boats. Located only 12 minutes from downtown Johnson City. Peaceful setting with a view. The house itself was huge with more than enough storage. We could actually settle in with everything put away so that we really did feel right at home. They had everything we needed including plenty of wine glasses! The host was responsive and we will stay here the next time we are in the area.
The house was more beautiful than the pictures. Clean, spacious, comfy beds, hot showers and an amazing kitchen! So much space to spread out and find a comfy space to read or unwind.
We arrived a day ahead of Hurricane Helene and survived this horrific storm in this well built home. Coming from Nee England, we had never experienced a storm of this fierce magnitude but we see thankful that we were in such a safe house. This property is a hidden gem and we truly enjoyed everything about it. Excellent communication and care from the host. Thank you for sharing your home…we will be back to explore the National
Parks and will stay with you again.
This property was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. After driving over 10 hours with a four-month-old, we truly don’t know what we would have done without the owner’s incredible generosity and flexibility with both check-in and checkout. She went above and beyond to accommodate us, and that kindness alone made this stay unforgettable. The home itself was fabulous—beautifully laid out with great flow between the bedrooms and bathrooms, making it perfect for families. It fit our needs 100%. And we have to mention the water pressure… it is honestly the best we’ve ever experienced anywhere (hotel, resort, or rental included!). The jacuzzi tub was a dream after long days of travel and exploring. The garage space ended up being such a fun bonus for our family while celebrating the holiday, and the sunroom/living room couch was incredibly comfortable—perfect for relaxing and playing games together. My husband absolutely loved the kitchen, which was very well equipped and made cooking breakfast and dinner easy and enjoyable throughout our stay.Every bedroom having its own en suite bathroom was such a luxury, and the TVs were super easy to use, which we really appreciated after a long travel day. The exterior of the home is just as impressive as the inside—gorgeous mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. We made amazing family memories here and cannot wait to stay again next year.
