Great house, clean, fabulous location and we loved the treats left for us by the owners. This was a great home base for our time at Pictured Rocks. The house had all the charm of an old home yet all the amenities of a brand new place. It was a bit noisy with the traffic on the main drag and the occasional noise from the Dairy Queen parking lot but this was manageable. Thanks for a great stay!

Best place to stay in downtown Munising!

House was very conveniently located. Very clean, comfortable. Welcome gifts were lovely touch. Furniture, TV, showers, beds...everything was well appointed. Will recommend this home to others. If we return to the area, this is where we will stay.

Amazing rental property in Downtown Munising! Super updated yet oh so charming. We had an amazing 3-night stay here. We enjoyed some family karaoke nights in the large living room as well as went kayaking along the Pictured Rocks shoreline. Highlight of our stay was celebrating the engagement of our family friends (former exchange student Jessi & now fiancé Nico from Germany) on Miner’s Beach. Great spot with lots of cooking utensils.

Perfect vacation

Great location in downtown Munising, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise Dock. Beautifully remodeled house with plenty of room. Short drive to several waterfalls and beaches.

A great place to stay!

It was nice to have a house that was within walking distance to many of the gift shops/stores, restaurants, and Pictured Rocks Cruises. We definitely enjoyed our stay and the house was welcoming and comfortable to stay at. The property owner was very prompt on answering our questions during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Home in the UP

The is place was perfect for what my family of 4 needed during our MI road trip. Plenty of space to spread out, a convenient location in town with restaurants and grocery options, and easy access to outdoor adventures. The property was clean and well stocked. We will be back!

Lovely accommodations, central location

We headed to Munising to explore the area and found amazing scenery and activities. Lisa’s property was lovely and comfortable and perfect to come to each after each day of sightseeing. Kids loved the huge TV and proximity to DQ. Parents appreciated the clean and pleasant atmosphere, well-stocked kitchen and central location.

Perfect house near everything!

The house was perfect for us. Clean, centrally located to get to all the beautiful things Munising has to offer. The owners had an awesome binder with recommendations. My kids loved going to the Dairy Queen right next door. Easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Perfect

This home was the perfect spot for our family's trip to Munising. The location allowed us to walk everywhere. We rented E bikes, took a boat tour, hiked, and shopped. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The house is incredibly clean and comfortable. We loved the combination of the old charm with all the modern amenities. 5 stars plus!

Lovely Home!

We loved our stay! The pictures don’t do the space justice. The space is wonderful and easy to navigate. We had our family of four and my in-laws with us and never felt like we needed more space. DQ next door was a treat, we went every night. The fire detector in the kitchen is very sensitive, I set it off every time we used the stove or burners. We will definitely stay again!!

Amazing stay in Munising!

Our family had an amazing stay! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need! Home has recently been renovated and is stunning, so much attention to detail. The beds were all very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for all six of our family. We LOVED it!!!!! And the Dairy Queen next door was a huge hit! Plus, we were able to walk to all the shops and a few restaurants in the downtown area. So fun! Pictured Rocks was stunning, we especially loved the views from our hike on Chapel Loop.

Vacation

Everything was good, except we did not have use of a grill until the day before we were to leave. I have a suggestion about going upstairs. There needs to be another railing on both sides. It’s hard to go up and down steps if there isn’t railings on both sides. It’s hard for people who have had joint replacements, otherwise it was great. Just a suggestion.

Awesome location, super clean, great hosts!

Awesome home, gorgeously renovated, amply furnished, and with all the modern conveniences. We especially liked the decorative window charm, beautiful window seat, large kitchen, and the overall clean fresh look and feel of the home. The colors relaxing, couches very comfy, and the master bed had a nice pillow top. The welcome gift on the table and little things like throw blankets and night lights were a very nice thoughtful touch and are an example of the attention to detail that this homeowner exhibits. The home does experience some road noise during the day and next-door traffic at the Dairy Queen. But the nights are nice and quiet, and the DQ does not open until midday. The home has very nice privacy and blackout shades. Walking distance to most everything. Loved it. We would highly recommend this home to others looking for a wonderful stay as they visit pictured rocks!

We enjoyed our stay. A very well appointed house with plenty of room to spread out. Very clean. It’s located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. DQ is right next door, which was a plus for the kids.

Downtown Munising

The home was beautiful with a big front porch to watch the traffic. Lots of shops and restaurants as well as beach and excursions to walk to. Two full baths with showers. Need to be able to maneuver stairs. We had a blast at Pictured Rocks National Seashore!!

We had a great time during our stay here. The location is great-we could walk to many restaurants, shops and breweries in town, and were in very short driving distance from other attractions and activities. The house is very clean and well maintained

I grew up on a resort in Au Train and met my husband here as his parents had a summer home on 16 Mile Lk. (He's a cheesehead from Wisconsin) We enjoy the outdoors, boating, fishing, side by side riding, hiking, etc... We are new grandparents and enjoy sharing all that we love with them and our family. We hope you enjoy this beautiful area as much as we do. Grateful to call Munising home!
