Family Vacation

We enjoyed viewing both sunrises and sunsets from the screened in porch. The rental was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals. We would definitely rent again!

Great Beach Cottage

We loved the location of this home, and it was perfect size for the 4 of us. I don’t recall seeing in the description and pictures that the back porch was screened in, so that was a nice surprise.

We are outdoor people and spent a lot of time on the covered and screen porches, when not on the beach. The decks are great for stargazing after dark. Kitchen is nice but very small. Celebrate my mom's 80th.

Great view and a great house. Everything was updated and clean. My only complaint was the lack of storage in the bedrooms. Only one bedroom had a closet, and there was no drawer space. It did not impact our stay. Overall we had a great time, and we would stay here again.

I did cook every night we were there. You should let guess know they will need dish soap. We were kind of surprised by not having any, but these things would not stop of from renting again. Just a great great stay.

As South Carolinians we are no strangers to beautiful coasts. The house was beautiful and the redo was amazing. The only complaint was that the master only has a double bed. My husband and I are not big people but expected a queen bed. If it was not for that, we would stay again in a heartbeat. While I don’t think a king bed is needed, a queen is expected in a master.

A few fixes where its settling need to be made other than that we recommend it! The only draw back is its right beside the public access to the beach, you have to set up your space on the beach early before the hordes descend by lunch time. We go up to the state park a lot so this wasn't a major inconvenience, but if you like to stay on the beach at the house it could be highly annoying. We prefer to come after labor day for this reason. After Labor Day they left, it was very peaceful and we had the beach to ourselves. (We are in our 50's and crabby, LOL)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is really good, right on the beach. Just over the sand dune and sea oats and you are at the water. It has its own walking path to the beach. Suncoast Rentals are very nice people to work with. I give them top ratings. We had to leave after only one night because of reasons not associated with the rental house. Because of those circumstances Suncoast was very cordial and we were not charged but for the one night we stayed. The house itself needs some repairs but it was not unlivable. We would have stayed the full time we reserved except for the unforseen circumstances; and as said Suncoast was very nice to work with.

Beach front!!

We had a wonderful time. As other reviews said, the house is compact, but you're at the beach! The house was close enough to Center town to be accessible for the teens to walk and get snacks or shop, but far enough that the beach was not crowded at all, even on spring break. The house had perfect outdoor space, including some screened in (in case of rain), and a deck on each side of house (in case people want privacy). The bed was reasonably comfortable, but more pillows would be nice. The kitchen had ample cookware, but no other supplies. I've stayed at several locations in sgi, so iknow this scarcity of supplies is typical of the island. If you want to avoid paying top dollar at the piggly wiggly consider bringing the following; toilet paper paper towels, basic cleaning supplies, disk detergent, laundry detergent supplies, salt/ pepper, olive oil, basic spices. It rained a few days which underscored this house's best feature. BEACH SIDE. I read for hours on the screened porch watching the ocean. The check in procedure was a little stressful, i heard several different answers about how to handle my late arrival (typically they want you to pick up access info at the office). The issue was resolved last minute (one employee finally answered my question clearly). Nor a big deal, but it would be easier to simply email details for access the day before. I ABSOLUTELY WANT TO RETURN TO THIS LOVELY SPACE. THANK YOU
