Irene’s house was excellent. It was a beautiful home with amazing view and an easy 15 minute ride to downtown Santa Fe. After a busy day with crowds, returning to the quiet house and gorgeous views was a welcome treat. Her attention to detail was outstanding. The house was fully stocked with an abundance of necessities and some local treats for snacks. She supplied a binder full of useful information and recommendations for restaurants, sights, etc. The road up to the house was a dirt road and a little tricky, especially in the rain. Regardless, I would highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Judy! So happy your enjoyed your stay, despite our crazy monsoon rains at the start of your stay!! We were happy to have all the rain but wow, that was intense, and definitely made our road a bit challenging. Of course the county arrived the day you checked out to fix our road and give us a smooth ride once again--thanks for rolling with it and thanks for booking with us! -Irene
The guest house experience far exceeded the photos and description. The host thought of everything and then some! The home is close to a few great restaurants and close to the Plaza. We will definitely be back!
The property was even better than we expected. Beautiful, peaceful, majestic views, and exceptionally helpful and communicative hosts. Thank you SO much for such a lovely stay.

Thanks for your review Michelle and thank you for choosing our guest house for your week in Santa Fe!
We selected this property for privacy, views (big sky), and contemporary design. It scores a 10 in each, from a retired architect and interior designer. The artwork and art books were an added benefit! Great sunsets from front deck. Highly recommend close-by Harry's Roadhouse for colorful ambiance, generous portions, and reasonably priced dining.
The property was wonderful and full of art that is unique and powerful. I believe some of the art is photographed by one of the owners. The GIANT living room piece is SO awesome, especially when you look up close. The home is gorgeous and full of natural light :) The place was clean, and modern. Irene responds quickly if you message her. There were plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I want to mention, and this only applies for certain people and the time of year you visit, is that the bedrooms were hot at night as there isn't AC in them(typical Santa Fe home). The living room/kitchen DOES have AC. I imagine 11 months of the year you don't need AC in the bedrooms and that open windows with the fans in front of them keep the rooms plenty cool. We just happened to visit during some very hot days and the rooms didn't get below 74 degrees until around 4am. My family also sleeps hot, so this won't affect everyone. I will also say the fans, even on the highest setting, are very weak. If you aren't visiting in late July/August, this will not be an issue and the living room and kitchen stayed very cool with the AC on. This truly was our only complaint and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Irene. She even leaves several treats for you, including a bag of delicious coffee. There is a drawer of little travel things you might forget such as Band-Aids and makeup remover clothes. I would highly recommend you stay with Irene!
We had a wonderful stay and the location was gorgeous! We felt very welcome and the personal touches were an added bonus. Overall a fantastic host in a fab city!
