Had a fun mother/daughter winery weekend and loved staying at The Barn! The owners are super nice and responsive, and have done an amazing job renovating the barn and making it a quaint, fun place to stay. The outdoor living space is especially noteworthy!

Thanks for the kind words Missy. You guys were AWESOME guests…and thanks for leaving the barn so clean! I hope you all become regulars!!
Charles and Katy were phenomenal host. We were up for my daughter's wedding. They made us feel so welcome and checked on us. They left flowers, champagne and some delicious cookies for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to bring our 2 dogs and had lots of fun walking the property. I would highly recommend this cabin and we hope to return next year.

Thank you so much for the kind review! We loved having you stay at the barn and are so happy the wedding weekend was nothing by happiness! You guys were awesome renters (thanks for leaving the barn so clean!) and we hope you will come back again to just relax for a long weekend! You are welcome anytime!
Lovely refurbished barn with great outdoor space and cozy indoor spaces. Well stocked kitchen. Close to great wineries and good hiking. Several low spaces where tall people will need to watch their heads. So happy that we could share this space with our college student and our elderly dog.

Thank you Elizabeth for your kind words! We loved having you stay and appreciate so much how you two cared for our little getaway while you were there!! Come back any time…and maybe bring Happy!
The property is beautiful and remote but close enough to Winston-Salem. We spent over a week before Wake Forest Graduation and commuted to school daily without a hitch. A great break from civilization.

Thanks Chris. You guys were a joy to have. We appreciate you leaving everything so clean and treating our little getaway as your own! We’ll see you again when your next son graduates!!
This property was amazing. We wanted a place where our 2 large dogs and toddler could run around. Even with a rainy weekend we still were able to take long walks with rain boots

This is was our second time staying at this property. This renovated barn is amazing and the host, Charles is so attentive. Our children love the big red tire swing and spend most of their time exploring the property! We will be back next year for sure.

You guys are the absolute BEST renters! We love having you stay - consider our little getaway, your little getaway!! See you next year!
This property was perfect for a weekend get away! Tucked away outside of town it offered peace and quiet, roaring fires, wide open spaces to roam, and more stars that you could count. So glad we found it! Charles was lovely to deal with and very communicative and helpful during the whole process.
Awesome home to experience. The barn was truely one of a kind and so very perfect. While we needed a place to stay for a weekend of 10U softball it’s definitely a place to visit again with and without the littles. Hosts were perfect, home was perfect, don’t pass up this barn (because it’s a barn). Seriously.

You guys were wonderful guests!! Thanks for treating the barn so well and for leaving everything so clean! We’re looking forward to you guys coming back for the Fall visit!
We had an amazing time! The barn was perfect for our family with plenty of space for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the tire swing and huge front area to play. My son said it was his best vacation ever! The master bed was very comfy and relaxing. The bathroom was well stocked with necessities too!
The only thing we wished for was internet access for the kids at night. Other than that, no complaints and we will definitely be back!

You guys were a joy to have! The Internet issue actually just got solved today! We’ve been on the StarLink wait list for two years and we just received notice that our equipment shipped! We’ll have full Internet within a week or so. On your next visit the kids will be good to go! Thanks for your kind words and for treating our little getaway so well. Come back soon!
Our family of 5, including two teens and elementary age kiddo and family dog, had the most relaxing and lovely stay here! This is such a unique stay and the perfect escape from the city. We loved making s'mores under the stars at the firepit while listening to the wild turkeys gobble, and just exploring the property with our dog - lots of surprises, including ponds and tons of wildlife. Two very friendly neighbor's horses were a bonus for the kiddos to say hello over the fence. The owner was incredibly kind and communicative - we felt very taken care of. Thank you!

You guys were such a pleasure to have - and left everything SO clean!! Thank you for treating our little getaway with such respect! We’ll see you next Spring Break!
These are the words I certainly would use to describe this wonderful little farm home! So very peaceful and a time to just listen to the birds sing and be with family! The home had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies, down to the generous supply of toliet paper! Comfy beds and upstairs sitting area. Had some rain on Saturday and was unable to use the firepit. We definitely plan to return!

Last minute family trip for Memorial Day weekend with our 2 and 4 year olds. Amazing property and modern updated beautiful barn!
Tire swing, fire pit, and covered porch on upper loft floor with outdoor speakers favorites! - great top notch all around! Kids really liked climbing up to the reading nook area in MBR and also watching the horses next door from yard…
Host Charles so nice and welcoming in making sure we were comfortable!
Great location as well for Yadkin Valley wineries, Elkin, Mount Airy, etc.
We are already planning a return trip hopefully this fall!!!

Thanks Kevin for those kind words! We’re really glad everyone enjoyed their stay…and thank you for leaving everything SO clean and for treating our little getaway so kindly!! We can’t wait to have you all back in the Fall…that’s the BEST time to be at the farm! See you soon.
Charles was amazing host, first off. Secondly, the property is astonishing. While you are about 30 minutes outside of Winston Salem, you’re conveniently placed between all tourist attractions available, from old Salem to Pilot Mountain. Once you’ve enjoyed tourist attractions, come back & enjoy the stars like our family did. This is a home away from home with amazing hosts. It was so accommodating every which way. For our children, to us grown adults. We loved it and will be back.

Quaint upgraded barn on a gorgeous farm with the perfect set up for enjoying the scenery outside with friends and family! The space flows nicely with a large dining room table perfect for family dinners or games. Outdoor space is expansive with enough tables and seating to enjoy the fire pit comfortably or just watch a beautiful sunset. The hosts are highly involved in ensuring a perfect stay. They were responsive and helpful for even the smallest of issues. The beds were comfortable, adding to a perfect night sleep in the quiet country. Highly recommend.

So glad you enjoyed your stay!! We hope you’ll come back soon.
This is hands down the best place I have ever stayed. The property is so big, and the views are gorgeous. The place is homey and exactly what you need. There is so much outdoor seating, and the firepit is awesome for chilly nights. There are so many neat handmade pieces, and it is obvious the amount of work put into what once was a dilapidated barn now turned into the perfect little stay. My friends and I could not stop admiring it and talked about how we would live here if we could. The hosts are so attentive and even left us treats and flowers to walk into. You will not regret booking this place. We will definetly be coming back!!

Absolutely beautiful house/ barn and property. We had a group of 4 women for a girls'weekend. We were able to rent a car, see the local wineries and then spend time at the house enjoying the fire pit area and large dining area. Great for a weekend with friends.

I love how the farm was central for everyone! Thanks for letting us host. Make it an annual girls weekend!
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend at this amazing property. Better than the pictures, the converted barn and acres of well tended land afforded us the sense of privacy and tranquility we were seeking. The area is full of vineyards, wineries, restaurants, entertainment, and scenic hiking all within a 25 minute drive and basic conveniences are just a mile or so down the road. Our dog enjoyed watching the wildlife and taking walks on the property with us too. Unique get away experience we intend to repeat. Highly recommended!
It was perfect for friends or a family to just get away from crazy life! Sitting by the fire was very relaxing! There are only 2 beds however we went with 3 couples. The couch upstairs was plenty big enough and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend!
We traveled and stayed here for our daughter's graduation. It is a perfect place to just hang out, take it easy and make memories. We enjoyed sharing meals around the table. We also enjoyed hanging out on the porch and at the fire pit. It is in a private location surrounded by nature. Bring your dogs! The host go out of their way to make your stay feel special. Thank you guys. We loved it!

About the host
Hosted by Charles & Katy Pendergraft
We love to entertain and we love our quiet time. Probably more than anything else, we really enjoy seeing our guests relax and enjoy themselves as they begin to unwind with quiet walks, watching wildlife, delicious meals and enjoying good wines. We searched for years to find just the right spot to create our getaway and have since spent nearly a decade since turning our 50+ acres of neglected land into our own little green sanctuary where we can enjoy these things with family and friends. We want you to experience it now as well! We have made our barn a warm and inviting place to spend a weekend reconnecting or just spending time together. Everything we have done from the barn and yard renovation to the design of our natural areas and the creation of our grassy pastures, we have done with the view that relationships are important and the farm should be enjoyed.
Why they chose this property
With all the noise that fills our daily lives, it is so nice to be able to turn off everything and enjoy the beauty of solitude, nature and conversation. In our cozy restored barn with 2 private bedrooms, a full kitchen with custom built dining/gathering table, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, StarLink WiFi, a welcoming Hayloft with a large sectional sofa and a 75" streaming TV, the covered deck with cushioned loveseat and two chairs are perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The downstairs covered patio has two rockers, a full size sofa and a cushioned porch swing - our farm is perfect for relaxing! Bluetooth connected stereo plays your favorite music on the deck speakers while you relax and enjoy the views of the farm, the fire pit and the tire swing. Our large stone fire pit is perfect for evening gatherings and watching the sunset and the occasional deer family running through the pastures. If you want activities, enjoy tubing, kayaking or wading in the Yadkin River, hike Pilot Mountain, bike the quiet back roads of Yadkin County. If it's wine you want, our farm sits right in the middle of the Yadkin Valley AVA and the best vineyards in NC are all around us! Winston-Salem in less than 30 minutes away where you can enjoy all the cultural benefits of the NC School of the Arts, beautiful museums, phenomenal restaurants and great shopping - then head back to the farm and wind down with a quiet evening around the fire pit!
What makes this property unique
Complete privacy, room to roam, gorgeous views and well taken care of grounds make The Barn at Fall Creek a spectacularly unique stay.
