This condominium has fantastic ocean views and offers clean beachy vibes with is overall theme throughout. Guests of the Victorian 7105-Sand Dollar will enjoy the proximity of Babe's Beach.

This charming condominium features an open concept living/dining/kitchen with a sliding door to a large balcony. The living area features a large television (wifi and cable in this property), a full-size sleeper sofa (upgraded sofa and mattress) and a dining area for guests to enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch before heading off to all of the sites and sounds of Galveston Island. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and television. The alcove has a set of twin bunk beds (optimal for two children). This unit will comfortably sleep 6 guests (prefer 4 adults and 2 children).

THE VICTORIAN
The Victorian Galveston offers two swimming pools; Waterfall Lagoon is heated in the winter with a rock waterfall and Paradise Cove for the kids, which features a water-drop mushroom and zero-depth entry with bubbling jets. The Victorian also has two hot tubs in secluded garden settings, picnic areas, a pavilion, garden courtyards with lush landscaping, a lighted tennis court and a 24-hour fitness center.

The toilet was broken, the ac vents leaked water in the bathroom. Clumps of hair were in the towels.

The map was misleading

When you look at the location on the map, it leads you think that the place is the closest unit to the beach, when in reality it is the farthest from the beach on the property. We still enjoyed our stay but we were hoping for a beachfront view.

Anniversary Trip

My first impression when I walked in was that the place looked and smelled clean. That was the most important to me. We did not have a good view of the beach or the pool. But it was easy to get to the beach and the pool was refreshing. We enjoyed our stay. We plan to bring some of the grandkids next time.

Perfect for us

The condo was great! Enough room for our family of four. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The complex was well maintained and clean. We tried the pool but it was quite chilly even though we were told it was heated. That is really the only negative and with the beach literally a walk across the street it wasn't a big deal at all. We would definitely consider renting here again.

Family trip

Our family (me, my husband and two sons 11 and 14) stayed in this condo over the July 4th holiday. The condo was sufficient enough for us but it was a bit small. It was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay but it would have been a bit of a struggle if we had stayed longer. With it only having one bedroom and bathroom it was very tight. Plus there was no where to hang wet towels and clothing. The things we liked were the location and the two pools. Although the pools got a little dirty towards the end of the day. The facility itself is pretty old and in need of some updating. But the condo was nice and has been updated. The queen bed in the bedroom needs to be replaced. It is not very comfortable.

Just ok…

The location works if you want to be close to the Seawall . The interior of this condo is updated and not bad. But, little things like bath products and pool towels were not provided and the wifi was out for almost the entirety of our stay and with virtually no service in the area this was a real challenge when we actually need to work. The bed in the bedroom was really small, I think it was only a full. The condo isn’t big, like super tiny, even with a small fridge instead of full size. Which was ok for our short visit, but would have been an issue if we had stayed longer. The parent property itself is in really bad shape, it felt like we were checking into a prison with bars on the doors etc. I don’t think the owners of the condo misrepresented this property in anyway, therefore I gave four stars, but we won’t be staying at this property or any of the units at the Victorian in the future.

So easy

Easy and convenient check-in with the lockbox. I had to call Ryson one time to ask a question and they were so helpful and pleasant. The staff at The Victorian were just as helpful also.

Great stay!

Great location! Cute and cozy! Right across the street from a sandy beach. Great for the price. Victorian staff is friendly. Shower curtain had mold on it, but otherwise clean.

The Bunk Beds

I tried to sleep in the lower bunk bed, but after a few minutes, I started to itch. I noticed my arm and legs had small red bites. I'm assuming it was some type of flea / bed bugs. This was the only issue I had.

It was in a great location. Friendly people, easy to get to everything in walking distance.

There where a few things it said it would have in room, but did not. So make sure you bring what you think you will need.

Not sure why I expected better

Grabbed this rental on late notice for a good price. It is an older condo so it was very worn out even though it was remodeled. Tight spaces, good for small kids but wouldn’t recommend for more than 4 adults/teenagers. Didn’t use appliances... one plug sparked and felt hot. Great location.

Victorian condos

Had a very relaxing trip. Property was in a great location, was clean and comfortable. It’s been years since we have been to Galveston and we had a great time. We will visit again and would stay here again !

Everything was great!

As expected! Cozy and amazing location. Balcony is private and amenities were great. The ONLY issue - a cockroach under the bed when we first arrived!
