Lovely place

It was clean, across the street from the ocean.which was great. Very reasonably priced. Fairly small for 5 people. Loved the pool, nothing worked the fitness center.

Prom Weekend

Our stay was great. The condo location was great. Access was easy, except for one elevator not functioning. Only other slight negative was the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped or swept. Aside from this all was great.

The condo was clean and comfortable. We felt very safe there and a great beach was just across the street. When I return to Galveston, I will definitely try to reserve this condo again.

Post cruise weekend

Nice property, convenient location, nice pool view from the large balcony. Contacted condo owner after a issue and was taken care of very promptly and satisfactorily.

Great place!

This condo is clean and comfortable. The location and view are excellent. The owner was easy to communicate with and very generous with a late checkout on a holiday weekend. We visit the island often have stayed in several condos, this is one of the best.

We stayed for a long weekend to run the marathon. The place was perfect and loved that it was right across the street from the beach!

Girls Trip

Enjoyed the large balcony and you were able to see the seawall and beach from our Condo. The security on the premises was excellent for three older ladies; we felt very safe at night. We had a great time!

Great condo

My daughter and I were on the island for my granddaughters’s TX drill team competition and lucked out to find this great condo when we began to plan our trip. So easy to book, centrally located, nice view, and wonderful and helpful owners. We’ll keep the info for our next visit for sure.

Beach Fabulous Beach

This place was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the pool every day and the kids met lots of new friends. The living space was homey and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was equipped well enough for us to make breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay. The condo was located across the street from Babes beach and we spent a lot of time there playing in the surf and sand. There is a lifeguard on duty there so it is pretty safe. I would stay at the Victorian again in the future.

Perfect little getaway!

Absolutely loved the condo. It was a good size, with a large patio with views of the pool & the Gulf. The Beds were super comfy, with plenty of pillow options. The kitchen was well stocked, and had all the amenities that we needed. Will definitely be back.

Better than expected!

We had the best time on our vacation, despite Tropical Storm Alberto. The condo was clean and felt homey. The beds were comfortable. The TV was HUGE! It’s perfectly located to the laundry and trash chute. There is a stop light next to the facility that made crossing the road to and from the beach easy. We spent a lot of time watching the rain and waves from the patio. We will be staying here again.

Nice owner

We stayed here 2 nights for a local wedding. The condo was not quite as pictured. The sleeper sofa was different and had stains on the mattress. The twin bed was also not as pictured with the pillows and the curtains were torn. There was no internet service because of the small tropical storm 3 days prior. The best part was the owner who was very responsive. This condo would be good for a small family or couple just wanting to go to the beach and swim in the pool.

Just as Promised

My husband and 3 sons had a 'bro vaca' at this wonderful condo. They enjoyed the hot tub and the proximity to the beach. The microwave is full size and not a mini microwave. The condo was clean with fresh towels. The owner emailed us to ensure everything was good. We will definitely rebook this condo in the future.

The Perfect Getaway!

My daughter (12), her friend (14) and my son (10), and I took a weekend getaway trip to Galveston Island. Hotel room rates were pretty high that weekend, so we looked into HomeAway for the very first time. We were pleasantly surprised and loved this place. It had all of the pleasures of home, very nicely decorated, cozy and a great view of the pool and beach area. The place was extremely clean and the location was great! The owner was fantastic to work with, communicated with us very well. I texted him several times throughout the weekend to thank him for accepting us on such short notice. There is a neat little book in the kitchen that people share their experiences, so it was nice to read and see who else had stayed there. Galveston Island provided a great getaway for us as we did everything from Rainforest Cafe, Schlitterbahn, The Strand, Go-Karts, Pleasure Pier and ate well. Thanks to the owners of this property, my kids and I were able to have a relaxing getaway and we cannot wait for a return trip!

We had a great time on our little mini-vacation in Galveston. This property is very convenient. It’s right across the street from the beach. You can see the beach from the little deck. There is also a nice view to one of the pools. The host is VERY responsive to communication and will make sure your stay is good. There was a miscommunication with her cleaning service and when we arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. We texted the host and she called back right away and was very apologetic, (she was surprised as well!) and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and happy. She was very friendly and helpful. And after that initial hiccup, the unit was clean and nice. The complex itself is a bit dated. Not bad, just looks like it’s glory days are a little passed by. The pools are nice. The hot tubs were decent. Only one was working when I was there. I actually did go and check out the fitness center and I was slightly concerned about the condition of the weight equipment… but hey, who uses the gym on vacation anyway, right? The restaurant and conference center don’t look like they’ve been used in quite some time and the general appearance of the property is just kind of so-so. If you’re wanting a really fancy place, this probably won’t be the one to pick. But I would definitely consider this place a bargain and I would book here again without hesitation if I was back in Galveston! The price vs what you get ratio makes this a 5 star choice for me!
