Great location, nicely equipped rental -- great choice!

The location is great -- long, walkable beach without too many people. And the cottage is nicely appointed and decorated -- in fact one of the best-equipped kitchens we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at quite a few. Hosts were very easy to work with. Great choice; highly recommend!

Perfect spot!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time! The house was private and very clean. Easy walk right to the sand (crucial with kids!). Plenty of beach/water toys included! Owner answered all messages super quick and very easy to communicate with!

Hideaway Beach

Seriously, we did not want to leave. On the shore of beautiful Lake Huron. Waves lapping at the shore, wonderful clean and clear water. Kayaks provided were great. Everything worked properly, beds were comfortable. Instructions were easy and laid out nicely in the property binder. We did not need to contact the host once with questions. We sought an oasis to escape our summer Texas heat and found it here. HIGHLY recommended.

Awesome lake house stay

The rental was great. Really well kept, comfortable. The beach was amazing. Very few houses around and can’t really see them outside directly by the water. Nice kitchen and really nice deck to hangout on. Check in was as simple as I could have imagined. AC in the rental is just an AC unit on the main floor, but there are fans in all the rooms. Sleep was comfortable outside of the day it got to 90 degrees. Beach does have some rocks, so I would recommend swim shoes if you have them. And lots of steps if you have anyone with bad joints. Certainly no surprise as the pictures show the steps, just a warning as our dad struggled a bit. Overall very nice stay, would definitely recommend this place.

Such a great place! The view is phenomenal from just about every spot on the property. Beach is naturally beautiful and clean. House offers all the comfort of home. Can’t wait to stay again!

Magic at Hideaway Beach!

This was our first time to the Hideaway and we found it magical! The location was a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax to the calm of Lake Huron and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. The home is wonderfully welcoming, clean, comfortable, with room to spare for our family of 5. We loved the private beachfront and kayaks, and recommended ‘Things To Do’ in the property welcome packet kept us and the kids plenty entertained and off our devices (at least for most of the day) 😉. Hosts were gracious and provided just the right amount of communication to make our stay truly something special. We’ll surely miss waking up to the beautiful sunrises over Lake Huron with our morning coffee, and ending our day with smores by the firepit, but will definitely be looking forward to another visit. If you’re looking for some true R&R, we DEFINITELY recommend the Hideaway.

Why they chose this property

Hideaway Beach is located on 101 ft of private beach on Lake Huron. The entire beach house is yours and we've incorporated some new additions for the 2023 season. Come enjoy the brand our new fire pit, the sunrise is even more spectacular with the new Andersen windows, cookout on the deck and relax to the melody of the waves, take an outdoor shower, and so much more!

The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen items, such as, glasses, pots, pans, utensils and accessories. There are two 55' Smart TV's in the living room and lower level bedroom and free highspeed WIFI and cable.

*IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER - this property is located in the bluffs of Harrisville. As such, it is NOT wheelchair accessible. Upon parking, you will need to be able to walk down a set of stairs in order to access the beach house. You'll also need to walk down a set of stairs and/or a gentle pitch in the property in order to access the fire pit and beach. Additionally, there are outdoor cameras which are recorded but not actively monitored.

The cottage is built into the bluffs in Harrisville, MI. The views are spectacular and you have 101 ft of beach frontage to yourself. Cook out on the grill, walk on the beach, enjoy a fire at night, and simply Relax & Enjoy.
