The apartment with its own garden is just a few steps from Lari s nice bars, the bakery, shops, the Castello and the small gourmet pasta factory Martelli. You can choose something nice to eat almost every evening: the charming little wine bar with fresh charm, the Buratinai restaurant on the Dortmund wall, the bar / restaurant on the piazza, the rustic restaurant with the Il Gallo terrace or a steak evening in the agriturismo nearby. An ice cream afterwards in the small gelateria next to the pasta factory, clearly a MUST.

About the story: Well, whether the house is now 500 years old, or "only" 300, no one knows exactly. The fact is that it was the granary of an old monastery complex and has already experienced a lot. The penultimate residents were definitely Marietta and Luigi, the maggiordomi, the servants of the Conte / Count di Curini Galetti from Lari. When they were old they were paid with this house for their loyal service.

Much to the delight of the current owner, it has been preserved quite originally over the centuries. Many houses were broken down in the 1970s, but fortunately the last restoration work still found round arches with antique terracotta tiles and many beautiful old stones.

Great care was taken to respect the old, to restore it laboriously and professionally, and to provide it with new, fresh charm.

Nothing is missing here for sunbathing, a refreshing shower afterwards in the green, a romantic evening or a cozy meal by the large window, in the garden or under the vine arbor.

What could be nicer than cooking outdoors and enjoying the food in the garden with a view of the Castello?
The loggia / veranda: A very cozy place is under the veranda, which connects the apartment with the garden. Approximately 15 square meters in size, it offers space for an outdoor kitchen with a pizza wood oven, brick barbecue, sofa, marble benches with colorful seat cushions and sofa. American wine grows in front of the loggia, streaked with red roses. Although this does not produce any fruit, it impresses in summer with its green colors and in autumn with the bright red of its leaves.

Choosing the most cozy place is not easy: The best way to enjoy the hours of sunshine is on the sun loungers in the garden, the herbal pasta at the dining table directly on the panoramic window and the wine afterwards by candlelight and the sound of cycads under the green roof of the loggia.

If you want, you can of course light up the pizza oven and dream of living as a pizza maker in Tuscany. Or grill a good Bistecca fiorentina on the barbeque ... that is also an excellent culinary delight. The cute apartment

Everything is small but very nice in one room: tasteful kitchenettes and dining tables in front of the panoramic window with a view of the green and in the distance the gentle Tuscan hills and the Apuan Alps. The bathroom, 4.5 square meters with shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer and washing machine, has a view over the roofs of Lari and the green. Incidentally, the paintings on terracotta and the photos with Tuscan motifs come from the German landlady and her Italian husband, and are also available for purchase. The wooden beam ceiling with terracotta bricks and the natural stone and brick walls with round arches in the apartment are also eye-catchers.

Colorful, invigorating and yet relaxing colors delight the eyes and senses. Modernity was carefully combined with the antique here. The apartment enchants with its location, the view and its beautiful light.
