About the host
Hosted by Beth Gee
Hi, welcome to our page. We are from Ohio and enjoy escaping to warmer weather when we can. Lake Norman has always been a place we've admired from I-77 driving down south. One day we decided to stop and check it out. We fell in love with the Davidson area and well, the rest is history.
Why they chose this property
We loved the walkability of Davidson. We are big walkers and love that we can stroll to so many shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
What makes this property unique
You'll enjoy all that this property has to offer. Spend some quiet time admiring the lake from the patio. Head to the lakefront pool for a swim. Check out the new tennis and pickleball courts. Take a stroll over to North Harbor Club for a bite to eat on the water and check out The Cottage and/or The Cabin afterwards for a cocktail by the water. They are all just steps away from one another.
The quaint town of Davidson and Davidson College are just a little over a mile away. Cute shops and restaurants can be found in the downtown Davidson area. The Village Shop is a fan favorite of mine. The Davidson diner is a great stop for breakfast, lunch or a shake and The Pickled Peach offers some unique lunch choices.
We also enjoy going to Old Town Cornelius. There are some fabulous restaurants and entertainment spots to hit here that are only 5-10 minutes away. Cornelius (one exit south) offers some great parks with small public beaches and walking trails. Jetton Park is my favorite because of the shade over the paths and Ramsey Creek is another we enjoy. Every store you could desire can be found in Cornelius as well as a fabulous visitor's center. If you head north 5 minutes, you can visit Langtree. This brand new area features shops, restauarnts, and entertainment.
Downtown Charlotte is about 25-30 minutes away depending on traffic. There are a ton of great things to fill your day in Charlotte. Feel free to reach out for suggestions.
