Guest Access:
Our complex is 8 total townhomes in a small community surrounding the central pool/hotub/kiddie pool. Each townhome is one side of a duplex. There are 4 large duplexes in the Laguna Sands Community. The pool, kidding pool, and hot tub are shared with the other 7 townhomes.

The Neighborhood:
Extremely quiet and peaceful area of Gulf Shores. Beach and ocean access is about a 6-8 min walk. Private pier allows for fishing off the dock with fish cleaning station. Also room to pull up boat.

Getting Around:
6-8 min walk to beach. Public beach access off of 13th street has parking available(2 min drive). Plenty of running trails and walking and biking lanes on west beach blvd

Other Things to Note:
Our townhome is a shared duplex. You will have a shared porch with your neighbor. The upstairs balcony is divided with a privacy wall. The grilling area under the townhome has two grills but is still a shared space with seating.

There are a lot of stairs at our townhome. This provides wonderful views of the lagoon and views of the gulf, but might be difficult for those individuals who have trouble climbing stairs. The townhome also has stairs separating the 1st and 2nd floor to the upper bedrooms. One bedroom is down stairs on the same level with the kitchen, dinning room, and kitchen.

Weekend stay

Me and 5 friends came down to go on a fishing trip and we stayed for the weekend. The house was very clean and the views were super nice. Had access to WiFi and the tvs were set with everything you’ll need. Location was perfect. Plan on staying here again in future!

Property was adequate...with the exception of the bed bug infestation. While I'm confident that the hosts will have this rectified quickly, it did require that our trip be cut short at this property and needed to find alternative accomodations. The hosts did offer another property; however, not at the size we needed.

Spring Break Bliss

All our teens and adults had a wonderful time staying on the Lagoon. The dock was amazing and we got to see two beautiful sunsets. We were in the pool everyday! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We grilled out,enjoyed ping-pong, went to the beach and use the cart and chairs. Loved our stay!!! Hope to be back.

Our family stayed for a week and had a great time. I recommend booking your family vacation here. Short walk to beach. Pool right outside the house with access to the fishing dock. Fishing poles, bikes, sand toys and more. Everything you need for a perfect vacation.

The location is great. Walk to beach or drive. Ample parking for $15 at 13th St public beach and a few free spots across from 12th St public beach. The bedrooms are huge and they definitely thought of everything. Very well equipped. Beach towels are upstairs above washer and the wagon in the storage room came in handy.

Coffee bar starts the day or ends the day just right.

Our accommodations was decorated very nice and contained many helpful amenities. The coffee bar was a wonderful start to a day with an encouraging sit on the deck or at the covered dock. The living space and bedrooms were comfortable and the number of bathrooms made it helpful to handle 7 adults and 3 small children at once, especially having a full size bath tub. after long days adventures at the waters. All the beds slept well. The only draw back was a cat-like smell in two of the upstairs closets. We used a strong peppermint and eucalyptus soap, hanging in the closet, in an attempt to defuse the smell and simply avoided use of the one next to laundry area bedroom #4. Perhaps a vinegar treatment may eliminate this odor for future guests to more fully enjoy thier visit. Thank you to owners for providing a nice stay and making recommendation on plaves

Great House, Great Location, Needs a Little Cleaning

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Here are our pros: The home is beautiful and spacious, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of paltes, utensils, pots, and pans. The hosts are very attentive. There is ample parking. The AC was wonderfully cool. The washer and dryer work well. There were plenty of towels, ample dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tabs, and washing machine pods. The pool is a beautiful area with numerous families coming together for fun. The walk to the dock is amazing, and the view is breathtaking! Here are our cons: The entire home could've used a little more cleaning. The floors had rugs all over the house that were a trip hazard and could use a good cleaning well. The floors in the entire house needed a good sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting. There was hair and sand everywhere. The sheets were clean but it seems someone had washed them with color towels that stained them. I spoke to the Homeowners about the good and the bad. She told me she would speak to the housekeepers! Overall the house is amazing and I would definitely rent it again.

Our entire experience at this property was exceptional. The home is spacious and well-maintained. There were plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements to meet our needs as a big family. The home contains all the little things you’d need to throw together a meal or take a quick jaunt to the beach. The multiple outdoor spaces give flexibility for group gathering or some quiet time with a book or cup of coffee. The pool is a perfect size and located just steps from the home. The pier out to the lagoon is huge and allows plenty of room for fishing, docking or just taking in the landscape. The beach is so convenient to walk to or ride a bike to. As advertised, the home is very pet-friendly. They have leashes and bowls available and the space itself just feels welcoming for dogs (and busy kids, too). This was our first trip to Gulf Shores. I was initially dismayed by how busy and touristy it felt driving in. How, this home is in a perfect location; you can readily enjoy the amenities of a touristy destination (stores, restaurants, putt-putt…), but you still feel like you are tucked away from that busy-ness in a quiet oasis. The hosts are prompt, thoughtful and helpful communicators. I was happy that our first VRBO rental was via hosts who were thorough and accommodating. We were very, very happy with our experience. I would recommend this specific property to anyone heading to the Gulf Shores.

Gulf Shores Vacation

Plenty of Beds and Bathrooms for our Family of 12 in a quiet neighborhood. The Kids enjoyed the private Pool and Hot Tub. A 10 minute walk to the Beach was quick and easy. Tara, the owner, was awesome with communication about Check-In, Check-Out, local Restaurants and Shopping. We decided to stay an extra night and Tara made the process very simple.

When it’s Perfect with imperfections

To make this topic make sense I’ll explain. The home was exactly what you see on the website. Beautiful home. The fishing pier was just a little walk down along with the boat dock. The pool wasn’t sanitary. Now that’s not the homeowners fault that guest doesn’t shower and remove whatever is in their skin. Now… I only gave 4 stars ⭐️ for cleanliness because the floor wasn’t clean in the kitchen area, the tub in the master suite on the first floor, dining room, & 1/2 bath which is in the dining room reeked with a urine aroma.. Now that’s an easy fix. You don’t expect others to be as clean as you would be. We still cleaned and disinfected the unit without calling the owners it’s vacation time for us. I’m telling you all of this so you’ll be kind in your scoring. Don’t sweat the small things. Just do what need to be done to suit your lifestyle. However, I did notify the owner concerning the a/c it was hotter than…….. you can fill in the blank… She was very sympathetic and reassured me that it would be fixed. I’m not certain if this was why maintenance was working in the home prior to check in or not. I would definitely stay again. Go enjoy yourselves life is very short. Make everlasting memories and remember these homeowners don’t have to be kind hearted and allow you nor I to rent their homes to vacation with our Family and friends. Make the best out things. Peace, love & happiness.

My name is Tara and my husband is Jeff. We would like to thank you for visiting our listing. Jeff and I reside in New Orleans with our four children. We learned very early on that we do not fit in conventional hotel rooms. So we began our journey of short term rentals to provide families like ours a place to stay at some our favorite vacation spots!

Why they chose this property

This property jumped out to us because of its size. With its four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. But we really like to invite our family and friends over and stay with us. Our townhome is able to sleep up to 14 people. And our kids have a great bedroom/game room with tv and bunk beds and sleeper sofa to keep them occupied. There is plenty of room to grill or boil downstairs. Our kids love being able to run down to the pool and enjoy the kiddie pool or the hot tube as well. We all like to sit outside in the evenings under the garden lights and watch the football games or a movie with the family.

The beach is a very easy 8 min walk and if we are not up for that, the beach access also has plenty of parking available. Little lagoon/pass is a short one mile ride in the car and has public bathrooms and a great place for spending the day fishing or doing water sports.

What makes this property unique

This is one of the most unique properties we have seen before. We have amazing views of the lagoon from our double balcony and a large dock to walk about and view the sunrise or sunsets, very romantic. And for the kids we have the pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub right out the front door. The beach is a very short 8-10 min walk over. And we try to pack to be there all day, but if one of the little ones needs a break, its a quick walk back to the townhome.
