The communication was pretty immediate and very helpful start-to-finish. The interior is updated very nicely with comfortable beds and living room seating. The exterior is dated with an entrance area that needs cleaned up / debugged. The location was great for us, right off the freeway as we were passing thru. We had someone in a wheelchair with us and needed to use our small portable ramp to get over the parking lot curb and especially the doorway threshold - about a 4" step-over. We were able to use the hoyer lift for getting her in and out of bed. Overall a very good stay.

This was a great place to stay. Don’t let the outside fool you. The inside is very up-to-date and modern. Beautiful, spacious, and clean. Beds were very comfy. Lots of amenities that you would find at a hotel. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and nicer than a hotel

The communication with the property manager (Andrea) was excellent. The location is literally 3 minutes from anything you could want in Idaho Falls. Appliances and amenities are all new and nice. Overall I’m glad I stayed here instead of a hotel.

Check in was very easy. Outside was kind of kind of worn down. The decor was somewhat updated. The dryer was not working when we got there, but since we were only staying 1 night, it wasn't a problem but could of been if we had been staying longer. Windows were very dirt and the patio could of used some weeds pulled. It was okay for 1 night.

Perfect home base to visit Idaho falls. Great communication and check in. A few things were missing but they provided them right away with a couple snacks! Loved the kcup coffee & creamer provided. The bed was very comfy.

Very happy with our stay! We slept 7 adults comfortably. The rollaway beds were super helpful. Facility was very clean with nice updates. The apartment is very nice. Updated everything and very clean. The busy street that runs behind the apartment creates a lot of noise from the traffic. No covered parking as indicated in the instructions. Other than that, the apartment is good.

Idaho Falls Apartment

This is a two bedroom apartment, convenient and clean. Parking was very easy, everything on ground level. One thing the property manager should address is the outside light comes into the second bedroom at night because there are now backout shades. The property manager was very responsive when I called about the coffee maker not working, DoorDash was delivering within 90 minutes.

Quick trip

Kitchen was great. It was a quick trip and we cooked only one full meal, but there were nice sized pans and we had all the utensils we needed. I like that they said it could accommodate many people and they stalked the cupboards and linen closet appropriately. Host was quick to respond and let my family in remotely when they had issues with the door. The roll away bed was a little tricky. Not a lot of room for them to fit, but it worked and we have no complaints.

Property was clean, except the master bathroom shower curtain, it had mold or mildew on the bottom. It was disgusting. This could have been an easy fix. Also communication could have been better. Vrbo did not send me a code to get into the property, I had to notify the owner. One thing I did not like was the owner asked if I would wash all used towels upon leaving. I did not, I told him that it should be included in the cleaning fee. We checked out early which gives the cleaning crew plenty of time to do their job.

Check other option - property not ready for occupancy

Property mgr needs to step it up - poor communication all around. No instructions provided. Outlets not working properly, Apt not stocked with adequate necessities as advertised in listing. Water leak in kitchen. Patio needs cleaning, not able to use due to filth. No way did a family of 4 live in the Apt for 1 month prior to our 10 day stay. Neighbors above the Apt run around all night, bouncing balls, exercising on an Elliptical or similar at 2am, washing clothes at strange hours. Very hard to get any sleep. Clay the owner is very nice, but depends on Adrienne (prop mgr) to handle day to day operations, which is not happening.

We are local people who enjoy investing in a few area properties. We enjoy the process of preparing the furnishings, decorations, and other amenities for our guests who come from around the world. We often stay as short-term rental guests when we travel, and use that experience as context for our own properties.

Why they chose this property

This property is very close to a lot of attractions our guests desire, and is very convenient to both the airport and major area highways. Despite such access, the space is a quiet corner unit where guests can relax and recharge in comfort. It feels like a little hideaway in the city.

What makes this property unique

This property is perfectly situated for travelers to the area, whether they are arriving from the Idaho Falls airport or desiring a convenient place to stay while visiting Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Bear World, or another tourist destination. It is a great accomodation for skiers, fishermen, hikers, and other adventure-seekers. As a ground floor accomodation with no stairs, automated entry, and free covered parking near the entrance, it is great for guests with mobility limitations. Many of our guests are visiting family in the area, or are traveling for an event such as a wedding or graduation. We have enjoyed accomodating work travelers, too, from construction workers to executives. This is a great spot for traveling nurses, or visiting personnel from Idaho National Laboratory.
