Checked in Friday night and ate down at Jimbo's then spent all day Saturday hiking through the state park then relaxed in the hot tub and checked out Sunday morning.
This cabin is the perfect place for an intimate getaway. The property was beautiful, clean and quiet; and the cabin provisions met our basic needs for grilling, cooking and cleaning. The bed is very comfortable, just pack extra pillows if you like more than one each. The hot tub on a covered porch with a peaceful private view is the best amenity on-site!
This cabin, was clean, cozy, and pretty secluded for being right off the road. The deck is amazing with a beautiful veiw. We even had a deer in the yard.
This cabin was a great stay. Private stay.. there is a neighbor next door that was having a bonfire that i could see, but for the most part very private. Jacuzzi on the deck facing the woods was so perfect and peaceful. If I ever come back this way I would definitely stay there again!
Just know, for the check in, you have to go to their main office roughly 3 miles down the road for the key... I did not read the little print at the end of the confirmation email and went straight to the cabin.
Very nice and secluded even though it’s right off the main road. We we’re very impressed with the first glance appearance of the property except for the garage door being the first thing that one sees when pulling into the driveway The deck was large and very nice and the fire pit easily accessible too and we loved the hot tub and having it right outside of the door definitely was a plus Once inside we really liked the large one room concept it was perfect On the downside if I owned this property and was renting it out I would replace the couch and recliner along with the very small TV Other than those few minor things we had a great time and will definitely come back once the weather is warming
Honestly the view was beautiful. The place was cozy. The amenities were nice
However, when we got there the outdoor picnic table was nasty. The outdoor grill? Untouched. Disgusting with old food. Dishes in the cabinets? Gross. Flecks of stuff on them, old food and such. Was a bit dissapointed in that
The hot tub was the best part. Wifi PW of bluejay was not correct. PW is on the modem! Dirty washcloths under bathroom sink. Tattered bedspread 😔. Not able to turn overhead fan on. Found fan in closet, it was disgusting. I put it back. It was close to surrounding attractions. Attempted to call office at checkout as instructed, I wasn’t able to leave a message.
Could have been worse, could have been better
Overall, a very cute and cozy property. Just a single cabin. From the pictures, it looks like the property is shared, but half of the cabin is the owner's private garage which can't be accessed. The cabin is right off the highway, so it is very easy to drive to--no huge hills or dirt roads. There is a neighbor next door who was out in his back yard, so it's not 100% private, but it is very quiet and secluded overall. The large, covered deck has a grill, a picnic table, and a hot tub. The cabin is all one room but with a separate bath and shower. Very clean and comfortable. Bed and furniture could be updated. Very close to the John Glenn Astronomy Park and Old Man's Cave. (But all the hiking trails are basically along Highway 664 and relatively close to each other). We enjoyed our stay.

Happy but also sad.
The Cabin was nice however we lost power on Saturday for over 6 hours. I called about 7:30 to tell them that the cabin was getting cold and ask for some blankets. I was told it would be 10:00 pm before they could get them to me. I feel that I should get some kind of a refund. I also was sent an email that said I could check in at noon but was not able to check in until 4:00.
Nice cabin, feels secluded, quiet, peaceful. Hot tub was great for relaxing after a fire.
Had some trouble with the internet connection, but maintenance came to resolve the issue. Queen bed has a slight sag in the middle so snuggling with your partner is the nightly ritual. :)
