The home was beautiful and well equipped for our family. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our kids and grandchildren. Fun was had by all and the home accommodated all our needs. I would recommend this rental to others and we hope to rent this home again in the future.

This was my yearly Christmas gift to my kids and grandkids. We usually go to the mountains or the beach but decided to stay closer to home this year. It was a great choice and we will definitely be returning. This place was spacious, clean and had lots to keep everyone happy. You must eat at the woods restaurant which is right down the road. We are there twice and would have eaten there again if we had more time. The fire pit, fishing peer, and game room were a huge hit.

Great getaway on the water!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was large enough for our big family and conveniently located with a Dollar General and grocery store just down the road. Great indoor and outdoor spaces--especially enjoyed the flat backyard, fire pit, and being right on the water! Host was great to work with and we would love to return in the future.

Golf and Fishing Getaway

There were 7 of us who took a fall trip to play golf and fish. The house was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable, very clean, and very convenient to the golf course, food and fishing. Plenty of room for 7 grown men. Will definitely be back.

Relaxing Family and Friends time

The property was perfect for our short getaway. Even though we are from the area, being away from the noise and business of work and life to just relax and make memories with friends and family was amazing. Golf State Tournament Stay!

We had a fantastic time here! We were a girls high school golf team making the most of our state tournament trip. This house was everything we needed. The bunk room was perfect with the girls. The ping pong table was so much fun, the putting green was perfect, and we even ended up doing a little fishing from the dock- and we caught fish! Bring your poles! This place was clean and tidy! Check in and check out were so easy! Would stay again!

Nice place with a easily accessible dock

We really enjoyed this property. My husband enjoyed fishing from the easily accessible dock. There were no stairs to get to the dock which was super nice. The home was about a fifteen minute drive from downtown Florence which is where we went for most of our entertainment. The inside of the home was nice and had what we needed. I will note that the home is two stories with only one bedroom on the first floor (with the kitchen). The ONLY way to access the kitchen /downstairs from the other bedrooms is a steel spiral staircase. Just know that if you are older or disabled. You could walk out the front door and around the house to the backdoor if you needed too. Also, the neighbor was much closer than expected but overall a very quiet neighborhood. The water in the shower was hot but the water pressure wasn't super great but definitely gog the job done. Overall I would stay here again!

Excellent Stay

This is a beautiful property! We do not have a single complaint as the property was clean, had everything we needed, and allowed us to take in the beauty of the lake. I will say it’s important to note there are only three bedrooms with queen or king beds and then a large common room with a number of beds. The neighbors are a little bit closer than the listing shows as well, but we were all adults lounging and relaxing, but would be good to note if any large families plan to stay. This property is an amazing value where you can soak in the relaxation of lake living but also are a couple minutes from a Foodland and 10-15 from great restaurants if you don’t want to cook out every night. We rented a pontoon from the Florence Harbor Marina and ate dinner at the marina restaurant and had an excellent experience. In addition, I have stayed in other rentals with strict rules and check out policies, this host made it so easy on us! We plan to rent this house next year! Although we didn’t really have any questions or concerns because the host provided us all the information in a clear and concise manner, when we did have a question they responded in minutes.
