“Sanctuary at Two Bear” Nestled within the woodland of scattered Trillium flower, this custom log cabin rests on the pristine shore of Two Bear Lake. Within the woodland of a private wildlife sanctuary, a get-away for sweethearts, those special family times and even that romantic honeymoon. Repeat guests boast of its beauty, tranquility, comfort and one of a kind surroundings. The gated entrance greets you.

Two Bear Lake is a 136 acre spring fed lake and was rated one of the top five cleanest lakes in the state by the Wisconsin DNR. Trophy Bass, and Northern and pan fish are caught form the dock catch and release large fish. This lake is 10 minutes from the loud and long 7 mile Chetek Chain of Lakes which boasts of trophy Bass and Walleye (this is where the water ski show is).

Two quality canoes, kayak, fishing boat with easy trolling motor. A family size deck verses dock, two tree platforms with a 30’ extension bridge, play equipment.

Landscaped yard and fire-pit, and gas grill overlook the shore with the floating swimming raft. The common beach with picnicking deck and grill, paddle boats and floating swimming dock.

Wildlife often seen from your Adirondack Chair or the hammock: Loon, otter, beaver, quail, a bird watchers paradise, with the eagle watching overhead.

This family cabin is a no smoke zone unless it is an overdone marshmallow!

Activities Include:

GOLF – Nationally Rated Turtle Back Golf Course (with restaurant), A Replica links course of St. Andrews in Scotland; the Tag-A-long 18 hole links course and historic grounds of the late founder of Stout college. The main lodge restaurant offers bed and breakfast style dining.

A family friendly 9 hole course in Chetek with the Root-beer drive-in close by.

TROPHY FISHING – Out your door and 10 minute drive to the boat landing for the walley chain.

One of a Kind Fun – The old fashioned 1950’s drive in with the best burgers grilled on the spot with first run double features of the latest releases (you won’t forget it).

The fully produced water ski show on Lake Chetek – only in Wisconsin.

SHOPPING ANTIQUING SIGHTSEEING – The trip there can be a discovery in itself!

RESTAURANTS – One of a Kind Supper Clubs, Game Club and restaurants on the water are driving distance as well as drive-in, bakery and country diners.

ON THE WAY – Rock Climbing, memorable hiking with wonderful views, paddle boat river ride and antiquing in Taylor’s Falls on the St. Croix River. The wild animal and deer park in St. Croix, or the Winery and sculpture park.

Wonderful time had by all!

We enjoyed this lovely cabin so much. From the decor of the cabin to the layout of the land including the fire pit and walkway to the lake it couldn't have been nicer. Weather was amazing and the fish loved our minnows. What a wonderful little piece of heaven this cabin is. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was perfect. If we weren't in need of handicapped accessibile cabin in the future we would definately be back. Maybe just the two of us can sneak away and come back! It must be incredible there in the Fall!

Our family of six LOVED it!

Our cabin stay was a big hit with the whole family. Our kids (3,5,7,9-two boys and two girls) had a great time on the playground in the trees and the swings. The cabin was a perfect fit and very comfortable for our family. There was so much to do with the kayaks, canoes, swimming, campfire, and play areas that we had no need to go anywhere else. We could not have asked for more. Thank you!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Myself & a few of my closest friends took a long weekend trip away and stayed at Sanctuary at Two Bear and it was amazing!! The cabin was very homey and was decorated beautifully! The amenities were great and really helped us cut down on having to travel with a lot of stuff. The fire pit, kayaks and canoes were awesome to have on site and we definitely used them plenty! The cabin is located on a smaller, quiet lake which was great for us to relax on with our water loungers! Overall, the cabin was a perfect fit for what we needed and we would definitely stay again!

Charming cabin, lovely location, wonderful vacation!

The description is accurate: my family enjoyed our stay here tremendously. We especially appreciated the kayaks, canoe, and fishing boat. It's a smaller lake, but perfect size for paddling around. Everything was very clean and comfortable -- though the bathroom has no stand-up shower which may be offputting to some. The view each morning on the dock was spectacular! Very peaceful and relaxing.

Although we had no children with us, the series of treehouses, bridges, and swings available for their use was impressive.

Beautiful Spot, Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay here in June of '12. We've since rented several cabins throughout this and the Hayward area, but nothing compares to the relaxing lake and cabin at Two Bears. We even saw a bear near the swimming beach!

We'd love to stay here again, unfortunately we have a new 4-legged family member that isn't considered here ( and many other rental cabins sadly!) change that policy and we would be happy to come back time and time again!
