The owner was quick to respond to our request for entry code when requested due to our early arrival.The setting is great and was really convenient to the wedding we attended at Bonnet Island Estate. The deck on the channel was a treat.The property is really bare-bones and in need of a little TLC compared to other VRBO properties at which we’ve stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location on the water was perfect, the owner was very accommodating, and it included everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Home

Went down there for Fourth of July with my family and had a wonderful experience. The house is clean, spacious and in a great location. The deck and back is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. I recommend this song and will stay there again.

Our host was very responsive and was able to grant a request we had, which we truly appreciated. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this place as a “home away from home,” especially for a family of four. The kitchen was not well stocked or functional. We found it lacked basics like kitchen towels, measuring cups/spoons, usable cutting boards, and even basic supplies—so we ended up buying counter cleaner and napkins. The handheld vacuum barely worked. When we opened the dishwasher, there was mold inside; I wiped as much as I could before using it, sparingly. We also noticed small ants on the counter. The closets were disorganized, and there were only four hand towels total (two of which we used in the kitchen), meaning we had to do extra laundry. There was also a broken edge on the counter near the dishwasher. Outside, the curb appeal was disappointing, with tall weeds along the front and side of the house. The two sliding doors were difficult to lock, so we only used the one in the living room.On the positive side, the bathrooms were nice, the entire house has air conditioning, and it’s in a pleasant neighborhood. Overall, the home felt overpriced for what it offered. We didn’t want to spend much time there beyond sleeping and doing cleanup. The property has a lot of potential, but it needs better upkeep to justify the price—especially during peak season.

My family absolutely enjoyed our vacation here and was a fantastic spot to enjoy 4 beautiful days. Overlooking the canal was special, we could fish and go crabbing, paddle boarding and enjoyed eating outside. Minutes to the ocean and waterfront restaraunts were terrific too. I would prefer having an upgraded deck with nicer furniture outside and overall bedrooms to make it much better. We would come back

We had a fun family vacation at your home . We loved the openness of the living room /dinning room . The master bedroom was great . The other 2 bedrooms were alittle warm . The communication with owner was great, check-in very easy. The place was clean and spacious. One bedroom was nicer than other two. The third bedroom would be better for kids, 2 single beds. Wedding weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend at the shore for a family wedding. The deck overlooking the water was just perfect for a small get together the night before. The owners were more than accommodating and even let us drop off our food early before check in time. Ten out of ten visit. Thanks so much. We'll be back!

Getaway

A decent stay with my family for the short time we were there. House was not in very good condition; it smelled of cigarette smoke, a/c wasn’t working well, kitchen was not very well equipped, bedrooms did not have any dressers for clothing. The area was lovely, the lagoon was pleasant. Again, we only spent a few days so it was bearable but would not want to have the place for a week.
