We enjoyed a family get together in the Charlottesville area, attending a U VA football game and King Family Vineyard and polo match. The house was perfectly located for all our events, and it was ideal size for our party of 10. Communications with hosts were excellent. We highly recommend this property!
Beautiful area and close to vineyards. Great space for large family. The beds were very comfortable. The house is on a busy road but there is relatively long driveway. Definitely vintage; comfortable though
Good place to stay! The home and furnishings were very well cared for and there was clearly attention to detail by the host. When we had questions they were quick to respond and provided the information we needed. If in the area we’d stay here again.
Great spot in the Barboursville area of Virginia. Beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains out the front window and very close to Barboursville Winery as well as many others. Perfect place to stay!
We booked the house for a large group of friends who were attending a concert in Charlottesville. Large space and convenient to Cville and in a nice setting. Plenty of space for everyone and very clean. Owner was responsive and there was ample amount of cookware for breakfast. My only complaint would be the number of rules - there was a covid questionnaire, request for names, ages and license plates, etc., restriction on parking. I realize they are trying to cut down on parties and such but it was somewhat of an inconvenience because we had rental cars and were traveling from different areas. That being said I would stay here again without a doubt. Also we had a great breakfast just down the road at Jack's shop kitchen.
We stayed here for a wedding at Keswick Vineyards. The location and house was perfect between the wedding location and downtown Charlottesville. There were 9 of us, each coming from different states to attend the wedding so unfortunately the three car parking rule was a bit of a hassle, especially for a house that sleeps 12.
We ended up having to have two cars park at the Walmart, about a 7 minute drive down the street. Four cars could have parked there without being on the grass, but it all worked out. Our host was awesome and overall would definitely stay here again!
Nice size and location was very good for our sons wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The property worked very well for our family who was visiting for a wedding. Everything was clean and as advertised and communication was excellent. The only small issue was that it was very hot out and the house did not seem to want to cool down too much. I think that’s probably just due to the size and not a ton of air vents. Some ceiling fans would probably help with that. It wasn’t uncomfortable, just not as cool as we may have wanted. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and everything we needed for our short stay. Thank you!
Great stay. Great location. 3 car minimum is a bit restrictive for a house that can sleep 12. Plenty of room for 4-5 cars without driving on the grass. Expand the cement pad to accommodate 5 cars if you don't want parking on the gravel driveway.
This was a great experience. The house was very clean and very open. Host was in communication with me the entire weekend, checking to make sure everything was great. Highly recommend!
