This is a great cabin for a weekend getaway! We had 6 adults and 5 children (ages 2-6) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and the check in process was easy. We’re already talking about going back next year :)

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for the feedback.
Property was as advertised. Nice view out the back of the cabin of a gorge area. Clean cabin, plenty of bedrooms, and well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend staying again. The rental company was very pleasant to work with and actually allowed an early check in. Much appreciated, with seven guest.

Thank You for choosing to stay with us. We are pleased to hear that the cabin was what you expected and that you enjoyed your time. Please come back and see us again.
The back view of the cabin was absolutely breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some updates I think it could use (some of the furniture, deck, etc) but honestly, nothing that would have deterred me from staying again. The rooms were all good sizes, kitchen well stocked, and hot tub was very clean. The only two downfalls were having to pick up a key (you only get 1) in a different location /keep track of it instead of a pinpad entry. And we had a small ceiling leak on our last day. Overall this is a great location, and a beautiful home. Would definitely book again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Our favorite spot was the deck but we also enjoyed roasting smores in the firepit. The kitchen is well stocked and the living area is very comfortable. We played lots of games at the table. The beds are rather firm and the master is very squeeky. We would definitely stay here again. The roads in the resort to get to the house are not for the faint of heart, one-lane and very curvy with steep hills

Thank you for staying with us. So pleased to hear you were able to enjoy the deck and making s'mores around the firepit...one of my personal favorite things to do! Hope you'll consider a return visit to our beautiful area.
Views were amazing! Cabin was perfect for our stay. No issues at all with the cabin, location at all. Only thing wasn’t perfect was towels, listing says towels provided which was. It was 1 towel per number it sleeps. Basically 1 per person for multiple night stays. Washer and dryer on site but if we knew it’s just 1 per we would have brought more towels. This was just a minor inconvenience overall we loved it.

Thank you for the feedback! So happy your group enjoyed the cabin. We hope to see you again!
Older property with amazing view. A bit run down but functional. Some safety concerns for little ones
We love the area so brought our kids and and their families and enjoyed hiking and playing in creeks. Like the sunrise and sunsets from the deck but we're concerned because the spindles were far enough apart for our granddaughter to get her head through. In addition, some of the wood on the deck was rotten. We had to mark one area with a matt so we didn't step on it.
In the mornings we got up and enjoyed a homemade breakfast. Everything we needed in the way of pots and pans etc. was there. However, we weren't able to enjoy
the coffee we brought because there were no filters for the coffee pot

Nice property - but no HOT WATER for 27 hours
We thought the cabin would be perfect for our family retreat and it was until day 2 when the hot water heater went out. We literally had no water for 26 hours then it was time to check out :( We understand that no one can help it but there should be emergency procedures for something as serious as this. No one could bath or take showers and we had to wash ALL dishes by hand in cold water. Those last 26 hours were a horrible experience and a terrible way to end our family retreat. We expected the Owner would refund one night stay but that did not happen, A refund was given which was an appreciated gesture however we feel it was not enough to cover the inconvenience of not having any water to bath with or wash dishes properly. We were extremely disappointed.

Red River Gorge Cabin
Property well located for Red River Gorge Activites. Beautiful view off the deck. Was a little disappointing as property was advertised as 3 bathroom and is only 2 bathroom. They are in the process of constructing the 3rd bathroom. There were 6 of us staying in the house so 2 bathrooms was fine but if looking for a big group of the max capacity of 12 people would be inconvenient. For the price you are paying the cabin should be accurately advertised. The cabin furniture is a bit run down and the cabin was not well cleaned. Dishwasher not anchored properly to the counter so the entire dishwasher would fall forward when opening the door and loading. When this was mentioned to the property manager the response was “We know”. The kitchen has adequate dishes and cooking utensils. The 3rd floor remains quite hot during the summer even with the air conditioner running. Main floor bathroom the shower soap holder was broken and not in place. Hall light glass was broken. Be prepared for a 10 min drive to the end of the road to the house location from the entrance. The road is paved which is a huge plus. Overall a 3/5 stay due to cleanliness, condition of furniture and price paid for the property.

Thank you for your feedback! We will address the issues that were found. The 3rd bathroom addition was delayed and we are sorry that it was not available during your stay. It has since been removed from the listing, until construction is complete.
6-BR, 3-BA Luxury log cabin with awesome view, wrap around deck, stone fireplace, pool table, hot tub, WI-FI, satellite TVs; located in Cliffview Resort, that has everything that makes Red River Gorge so special!
