The Design Cozy Beach House is a luxury 3.5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths located in the lovely gated and child-friendly Palm Cay Resort, Nassau, Bahamas.
Designed by Leading Italian Designer Monica Castiglioni

Enjoy peace of mind during your stay at our vacation rental, nestled within a secure gated resort in a serene and quiet area, yet conveniently close to downtown and all amenities

It is a short 15 minutes drive to the Atlantis Resort but we believe that once you set foot in Palm Cay, you won't feel the need to go anywhere else. The Palm Cay Resort offers an amazing private marina, tennis courts, pools and a playground for children.
Cozy Beach House (CBH) is approximately 2700 square feet and is built directly on the beach. The turquoise water is less than 50 feet away! Just Dream! waking up to the sound of the waves every morning... CBH luxury spans on three floors.
On the first floor are the lavish dining room, a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a living room offering unparalleled views of the ocean —cable TV and free Wifi. There is also a powder room and a laundry room. Another great feature is the large terrace where you'll find a coal BBQ, a dining table for up to 6, a nice seating area and four comfortable lounge chairs.
It is on the second floor that you'll find the amazing master bedroom with a king size bed. Its well-appointed balcony is simply breathtaking. Of course, the master bedroom has its own en-suite with two sinks and a large shower, A large and nicely decorated guest bedroom is also on the 2nd floor. It has a queen size bed and has its en-suite!
On the 3rd floor, you'll find two additional bedrooms and another bathroom with two sinks and a large glass shower. The bedrooms are superbly decorated and both have queen size beds and two singles.
The swimming pool at CBH is fantastic and is located right on the beach. The deck is expansive and lounge chairs are provided.
Guests can enjoy a major beach restaurant serving Lunches and Dinners and the Marina café. It's only a 2-minute walk by the beach... They serve excellent lunches and dinners and the chef will even cook your catch if you get lucky during a deep-sea fishing excursion. "Jazz Night On The Beach// Live Music" is every Friday. Make sure to contact the Clubhouse for further info on other activities and event. The marina offers water-based activities including snorkeling, deep-sea fishing excursions, boat charters, etc.
Information about the Palm Cay Beach Club:

During your stay at the Starfish Isles Beach Units, you'll have exclusive access to the Starfish Beach and Beach Pool, specifically reserved for guests of these units. Additionally, our beach house provides you with your own beach sunbeds.

All other amenities, whether complimentary or paid, are available at Palm Cay. The "Beach Club" is a separate entity operated by a different company. It includes a pool and cabanas in a small area of the resort, primarily intended for guests of units without direct beach access, which is not your situation.

Additional services like the beach restaurant, marina café, and SPA are accessible by paying for the respective services.

In summary, the Beach Club is not included in your package and is not accessible to you.

Fantastic since it’s right on the beach. Jet skis for rent next to the property. Some fish for snorkeling. Some eateries within walking distance. Must have a car or taxi to travel in the area.

Best beach side town house

Beautiful views, with restaurant, bar and spa just beside. Good beds, towels and spacious rooms. Our host Andrea was realy kind. We had the pool beside the house. Everything was clean and in good shape. We had barbecue, soaked at the beach, rented a boat and went to rose island, then fishing and Watch tourtles! We had a very unforgattable 3 night stay. Hope to come back again.

Family vacation bliss

We loved staying at this beautiful location. We had a private beach for our unit, which was well maintained and had beautiful shallow bays to play frisbee and wade in the water. The palm cay marina had a Starbucks cafe and the most amazing restaurant pink octopus which we ate at almost everyday. The community felt safe and was well kept by staff. The condo had stunning views of the beach and ample furniture for our entire family inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped and there were extra pillows, blankets and towels for all of us as well. Liquor and grocery store were continently located just around the corner and had everything we needed. Lastly Andrea our property manager was excellent and was always there to answer any questions we had and had great recommendations for places to visit on the island. All around great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful View

Three generations of our family stayed here in June. The house was clean and comfortable and the view was fantastic. Unfortunately we did not have nice enough weather to enjoy the beach or snorkeling or to hire a boat for a day. There is a restaurant within the community that is really amazing, we happily ate there each of our three nights. We did not have a car... There was a driver available for hire in the neighborhood who we used a few times, though he seemed a little expensive. But we didn't really have other options. Our only issue was with bad weather and no car, the area was a little quiet and the teens got bored.

Fantastic home & location, just a few tweaks needed

When we arrived, we were pleased things were as depicted online. The facade of the home very attractive; private beach beautiful. Water and sand immaculate. Lots of open space for each grouping of guests in the community to feel like they were having their own private experience. The kids loved finding starfish, tiny crabs and mollusks…like a live nature class! Jet ski and tubing rentals in our cove were a serendipitous opportunity. The home interior was attractive. The backside of the home showed much more wear and tear. And a few lounge chair cushions were moldy. Only real issues we had were finding brown stains on the sheets of two beds and on some of the white bath towels. It seemed an odd slip for an otherwise good-quality rental. Luckily it is easily remedied. We cousins hear the neighbors while inside the home (walls well insulated). While outside in the lounge chairs, you are directly (and awkwardly) right next to other guests - a taller hedge between patios would have been much appreciated

Perfect vacation in the Bahamas!

We had a fantastic stay in Palm Cay! Andrea was an exceptional property manager. She even arranged for her wonderful son to dog sit for us so we could do a couple of full day excursions. The condo was in excellent condition when we arrived and had everything we needed. She texted regularly to check in. The condo was amazing. We ate all of our meals on the front porch looking out at the water. The beach was quiet, clean and absolutely beautiful. We went on a boating excursion right from the marina. The tennis courts were very nice and an easy walk. We rented Bird scooters and had fun exploring the development. I realized that they were expanding the resort before we visited and was a little worried about the construction. However, the construction was not near the condo and did not bother us at all. The restaurant on site was good and the bar was right on the beach. All of the staff at Palm Cay were friendly and warm. Everything was easy about our vacation. The supermarket was nearby, the trash was easy to remove, bottled water was provided, parking was easy, there were plenty of towels and great outdoor furniture. The house was beautifully decorated with lots of views of the turquoise water. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great Beachfront Views to enjoy a Bahamian getaway

We had a group of (9) traveling to this house for a week stay. The highlight is the spectacular beach views which can not be beat especially with families with small kids for easy access for swimming and playing in the sand The house is located in an upscale marina community on the eastern part of the island. It was nice that every group had their own room and own bathroom. The stairs are narrow and steep for kids or anyone that might have mobility issues. The kitchen is adequate and was stocked well enough to prepare meals. It is recommended that guests planning on staying here pack trash bags and detergent for washing towels etc.. as we were surprised to find out these were not provided for the stay particularly at this rental cost. These are basic needs that we had to make a shopping trip. The grocery market nearby is extremely expensive (Solomons) as is the Restaurant near the house (Pink Octopus). Andrea, the property manager, responded to inquiries throughout the stay and addressed one shower issue that we had experienced. She also helped us with getting us a driver for the week who was very nice and accomodated all our needs so highly recommend. This house is great option and quieter alternative to staying at the big resorts like Baha Mar and Atlantis. But given its location, it does take time to go elsewhere and one should budget accordingly both in time and money as it will add up.

Perfect Location, but..

I so wanted to give 5 stars because the group of 7 woman for a girls trip was incredible. Pros 1. Location and setting are heaven 2. Andrea, property manager, was very responsive and helpful with the issues that came up. Even gave recommendation for driver. She was really great! 3. Boat excursion from the marina, perfect and so convenient. 4. Dinner at Pink Octopus on property, delicious and so convenient. 5. Kitchen was adequately stocked for what we needed. 6, You are far away from Atlantis, etc. We liked the quiet. But it is a trek if you are interested in more nightlife, etc. taxi's are expensive. This was a pro for us, but could be a con.. CONS 1. Note that there is a per head, per night charge if you have more than 4 people in the property. We changed our number from 6 to 8, 2 weeks prior to our trip, and were charged (as expected). Then, when 1 person canceled on the day we departed due to an emergency, he refused to refund us for that person, saying no changes were allowed in the 30 days prior. (But he was happy to collect extra within that 30 days). He said that VRBO wouldn't let him refund, but VRBO contacted him and he refused. They agree with me that it should be refunded, but can't make him. Left a bad taste. 2. Beds are adequate at best - not very comfortable 3. Slider door lock was broken. We were given work around for safety. 4. For price, the property itself is a bit tired 4. Numerous bulbs out. Andrea fixed 1 primary location as requested.
