Welcome to your beautifully renovated beach retreat at Emerald Waters, located directly across the street from the sugar-white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf. Completely remodeled in January 2025, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo blends fresh coastal style with comfort and convenience — all from a prime third-floor location with elevator access.

From your private balcony, sunrise and sunset become part of your daily routine.

We enjoyed this lovely updated unit. The online pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. It's light, airy, and has a cute beachy decor. Renda and Charity were both great to work with. The only negative was the traffic noise due to the location. It helped to close the balcony doors during busy times of day. The pool and hot tub were very clean and inviting. The grounds, and all walkways kept clean as well.

Hi Sharon! I wish you would of left a reason for a 4 star instead of a 5. La Grande Bleu is a wonderful fully updated condo right across from the beach. We give excellent service and provide a beautiful condo and view and we don't understand the 4 star review. Very nice condo steps from the beach. Clean and updated and great support from the hosts. Pool was clean and property grounds were nicely maintained. Would highly recommend!

Property hits the sweet spot of location (access to the beach, other attractions, and highway 98) and price point (avoids big mark up for beachfront). Property is well-maintained and family friendly.

Some of the changes were not senior friendly, like low bed, sofa and the bunk beds. It sill was lovely just not as easy for us. Perfect location with some sliver views of the ocean, nice pool. Had an elevator which helped. Very nicely equipped kitchen. I would recommend this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bit of Heaven was a nice sized unit for our party of 5+baby. Washer and dryer made the dreaded end of vacation laundry irrelevant. Elevator was a huge plus with a baby stroller. Location was walking distance convenient to DQ, Alvin's Island, and Pompano Joe's. There is a small view of the water but at least you can see it! Enjoyed the private beach access as well. The heated pool was fabulous since it was a unseasonably cold Christmas trip. The hot tub was not working during our stay.

The location of the condo is great. They were doing maintenance on the outside of the building and hot tube while we were there. The fire department also did an inspection that lasted longer than an hour. Renda was great with responding to any questions that we had during our stay. I would recommend staying here with your family due to it being a good family environment. We shopped and ate at several wonderful restaurants such as McGuires Irish Pub, Merlin’s Pizza, and Pepito’s. We didn’t get to utilize the fun package due to the weather. That was disappointing. Maybe next time.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our contact Renda was great. We had burned out bathroom lights and her husband was there in 10 minutes. Was surprised cleaning staff didn’t notice it. Living room rug and furniture was well used. We tried to sweep up sand, but sweeper didn’t work! We used sofa bed, but had to wash pad. Was very flimsy so our friend gave us one. Our patio furniture was cracked and put clothes would get caught in in. Other balcony’s had very nice furniture. The pool was great and warm. I would not recommend a place on the busy road because of all the construction noise.

It is important to note that our condo is not brand new, and we do not charge premium prices associated with new properties. We aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience at a reasonable rate. The furniture in the condo has been well-maintained, although it may not be brand new. We appreciate your understanding in this regard. The location of our rental, which is conveniently situated just across the street from the ocean, has been highly praised by many previous guests. We are disappointed to hear that it did not meet your expectations. We are sorry to hear about the small crack in one of the chairs that we discovered during the inspection after your stay. We promptly replaced it to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of future guests. If you had brought the issue to our attention during your stay, we would have gladly provided you with a new outdoor chair for the balcony. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns directly. While we understand your disappointment with your experience, we kindly request you to consider the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received from other guests. We encourage prospective guests to explore all the reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the quality and satisfaction provided by our short-term rental. Great location with a people watching spot off the back covered patio. The property itself was great but could use a little attention, but nothing major. Our property management contact Renda was was quick to throughly satisfy any and all of our requests, and her attention to detail and commitment to care and treatment made all of the difference, that made our stay outstanding!
